Comfortable on the trails
These are very comfortable for a wide foot and/or ankle. I don’t like when the sock is tight around my ankle and I have marks. I’ve hiked in mine 5 days without washing and still great. They are now my go to walking and hiking sock. I have had no problem with pilling. Going hiking and Europe and these will be my sock to wear.
Superior all around!
My husband loves these socks! Please note that these are meant for people with wider ankles/feet. I also have the womans version and they are incredible! Super comfortable, durable & I LOVE that they are made in the USA along with the Darn Tough Socks(I believe they're sister brands). If you have smaller/narrower ankles/feet, stick with the original Darn Tough Socks.
Pilling and too loose
I wore these socks one time. In walking just five miles they already had some pilling on tge bottom of the socks. Nothing like my old darn tough.
