Mountain Hardwear  Polartec High-Loft Fleece Jacket - Women's

I purchased this to replace an old one of this same style and the fit was similar. Very few changes to the design (purchased last one 10 years ago). very happy with the replacement.

Overall product is incredibly warm and the color is great. Use it as a mid layer for ski days. Perfect application. I have the matching set and the two together would be incredible for morning coffee runs but the sleeves on the jacket are incredibly large. I am 5' 3' and they will go over my hands with an XS. My husband is 5' 11' and stuck his arm through the sleeves. The body fits perfect so I feel this is either a quality issue. It fits him the way I wish it would fit me. If they fixed this wonky sizing it would be a perfect product.

I have been purchasing these products for over 30 years. MH is my choice for active style clothing. Because of the great quality of the products, I don’t have to replace items often. In this case I replaced a monkey fur jacket. Sadly, they changed the material used in production. Good jacket, just not the same as the original. Thinner, less dense, not the fluffy jacket I expected. So much for ordering online. Still warm, and nice looking, just not the same..... just saying

I bought these last year and they are amazing. I'm usually a small and I ended up buying a Medium bc I liked the looser fit around my booty. Overall they are great... warm and cozy. I will say that if it's really cold and windy, the wind will cut right through them. But that's really with any fleece. Even my Patagonia fleece jacket is like that. For a lounge pant and running errands, they are perfect. Waiting for new fun colors so I can nab another pair!

I bought this to replace a 15 year old Mountain Hardwear Monkey Phur jacket, and I'm pleased with the new model! The loft isn't quite as high, but it has the same warmth level, it's super soft, and the cuff and bottom edge material feels more substantial/tougher than the old model. The fit is slightly more generous than the old model, which I think most people will appreciate. I liked the shorter sleeve length and overall length on the old model because I'm short, but the same size in the new model also fits well. I'd say it runs true to size. I'm 5'2" with an athletic build, and the XS fits well. And the fuchsia/pink-purpley color is amazing in person. So far it's been washed a couple times and doesn't seem to shed much. I dry it for 5 or 10 minutes then let it hang dry the rest of the way to try to keep fiber shedding to a minimum.

I bought this jacket to use on my hiking trips and absolutely love it. It is extremely warm and breathable. It’s also so comfortable and I enjoy wearing it. Also the jacket covers your neck when fully zipped which makes it feel like you have a warm scarf on and when you use the hood you experience the full warmth of the jacket. While I have multiple fleece jackets this one is the best one hands down. I plan to get another one since I like it so much.

My old Mountain Hardware jackets were all mediums. This jacket runs large—shoulders, body and sleeves. It was returned. I reordered for a small and the fit was better but still had room for a heavy sweater underneath. Unfortunately the small had a defect in the fabric and was also returned. So disappointing! On another note, I wish Mountain Hardware would go back to the tonal logos rather than stark white on a black jacket.

I bought this fleece to replace a monkey fur fleece from 14 years ago that I had lost. Unfortunately, this new version is not nearly as warm as the original. It's warm and if I didn't have the original to compare it to, I'm sure I'd be very satisfied and happy with it. The small seems to run slightly on the large end of the spectrum.

I wish i had this in every color. Its awesome. I have a pullover and full-zip and love them both equally. I used to work for another outdoor brand and did not like their "fuzzy" things like this, but MHW has done well here. I adore it and it's hard to crawl out of this thing because it is so comfy. I'm wearing this piece all the time since I got it! At home, at the cliff, in the plane, at the grocery store, walking my dog... it works for any situation so far. I love the fluff and the fit, very comfy! Also I've washed it more than a dozen times at this point and it still looks and feels great.
