Super Simple Stove (with some caveats)

First, this is not a backpacking stove. When you open this stove it looks and feels like an orange brick. That being said, it is super solid, well-built, and so simple a kid could use it. In fact, I made my kids cook for me on our last camping trip. This stove is not the lightest and it doesn't have the fastest boil time, but it is a solid choice for car camping with the family and fixing simple meals.

wouldn't wish this stove on my worst enemy

Barely works in a little bit of wind, switching the butane canister is infuriatingly cramped and dangerous, theres a small sharp peace of metal that will cut open your thumb when taking out or putting in butane, and putting in the the butane is so incredibly annoying, doesn't work half the time and sprays your hands with butane. The only thing going for it is the stable base, solid metal inclosure, and lower price.

Works great

We always keep this stove in the back of our rig for when we want to stop off a park or trailside for a quick meal with our family. Works great to heat food in large pot or pan. It's super simple to use and easy to light!

Great for car camping!

This is a great portable car camping stove! Wouldn't recommend it for backpacking though, it's surprisingly heavy.
