Disappointing
Thoroughly disappointing for how simple it should be to make this delicious. Tasted like overly sweet and sticky apple cinnamon oatmeal, took a joint effort between two people to finish it. Wouldn't buy again.
Yummy Breakfast
I ordered this as a dessert but used it for breakfast. I added vanilla protein powder. The taste is great and it kept me full.
Sugar content way out of bounds
WAYYYYY too much sugar - 72g per serving!!! That's twice what the American Heart Assoc recommends for an adult per day. Not to mention if you are a diabetic, this crap is off-limits! Let's put this into reference: * A can of soda has 39g of sugar * A Snickers bar has 28g of sugar * A bag of skittles has 45g of sugar * there are about 4g of sugar in a teaspoon. A serving of this product has 18 teaspoons of sugar in it!
Nice pop of flavor
I'm not sure that "normal" dietary guidelines apply when you're humping a full pack over backcountry trails. This has a nice pop of flavor and is a good way to reward yourself.
Great taste - bulky packaging
The taste of this is excellent. Way better than mountain house or other common brands. 5 stars there for sure!! The problem is that packaging is quite bulky and heavy.
I found these very tasty; I tasted them right after I got then I took them backpacking and found that it was a good way to finish out the day with this dessert.
Great flavor and perfect dessert after a long day
Even the kids were able to eat it for four days in a row without complaining!
