Delicious on the run

I am an overlander and avid hiker; however, I have a job that keeps me on the road a lot. I try to stay away from fast food joints and i always have enough time to pack a lunch. I keep these in my truck at all times with a thermos of hot water. I can pull over, somewhere nice hopefully, add water and wait a few minutes and boom a delicious meal is ready to go. I have had people ask what I was eating all the time, and they are shocked at how good the smell is. The taste is even better. There is, in my mind, no better product on the market.

Just add hot water.

Purchased the 12pk box for hunting, hiking and emergency. I have only eaten one to test out the taste and it was pretty good with a little soy sauce added. I'm sure it would be even better at the end of a long hike. Only downside is the "best by" date was only good for 3yrs after purchase which is fine if you use freeze dried meals regularly, but other companies offer meals lasting 25+ if you need long term emergency supply. Gave 5 stars for the flash deal price which was way cheaper other brands at retail.

Tasty Meal for Long Hiking Days

I had the opportunity to try this meal on a daily basis during a five day camping trip in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. It really tasted great and gave me the necessary carbs and energy to handle long hiking days. I'll be most certainly restocking once my current supply runs out.

Great product for backpacking

The taste was above average. I've had this particular meal a few times and have enjoyed it every time. Easy to make, and bags are sturdy so not worried about punctures.

Yummy

One of the better backpacking meals I’ve tried, really hit the spot after a 12 hour day on trail. I had this three times on a 10 day trip
