Not like Homestyle

I tried this before I went camping and I'm glad I did not take it with me. It has a lot of spices that are not typical of chicken pot pie, still trying to determinewhat they are. I think this would be more like a chicken and rice dish. It is gluten-free, but what is missing is some of the little crumbles that they put in biscuits and gravy, or something? It does have calories and protein, so you won't starve on the trail. I was thinking about giving it a 2 like the other reviewer. But I like alpine aire, and I don't want to be too mean to them. Just need to fix the flavor on this

The flavor is so bad

Has an absolutely nasty amount of herbs/spices in it. Flavor is extremely strong in a bad way and the flavor is nowhere close to a pot pie. This is the only freeze dried meal that’s ever been a nope for me.

Chucked Full of Protein and Goodness

This is down home cooking at it's best! Super flavorful and full of meat and protein. Bought one for a trip and keep buying it for more trips now! No salt needed. Super flavorful!

Good good for backpacking

Tasty and filling! I enjoyed the meal and it agreed with my sometimes finicky stomach when I'm hiking. I suggest it for all seasons.

This was not pot pie

Ours had rice in it, there was no pie crust. This was not a chicken pot pie. Is it possible it was packaged incorrectly?
