Good Pad
I like this pad because of its size, it works great to cover gaps between pads and add a little more protection where you need it. The carpeted upper is a nice touch and has proved to be pretty durable. Iv'e gotten it muddy and it cleans off nicely. It also definitely takes some sting off of landings and works well to cover up sharp rocks just in case. I wouldn't really want to fall on just it alone, but it is a nice accessory to have to make your landing zones a little safer where you can.
Nice little start pad but wish it was better
It's a great foot cleaning start pad but it honestly needs a tiny amount of padding where in reality it is just a hard board with 0 padding. If it had the thickness of a blubber it would be a great sit start pad.
A real welcome mat!
Black Diamond took welcome mat quite literally. This thing is basically a doormat. Which I love! Slide it into a pad and you’ll forget you even brought it. Very useful for starts and dabby landings
