Black Diamond  Kid's Printed Chalk Bag - Kids'

My 5-year-old daughter loves this chalk bag. It is the perfect size for her small hands. The bag is extremely durable with a soft fleece lining and stiff rim. The waist strap fit her perfectly with plenty of room to grow. A chalk ball fits nicely inside and the adjustable drawstring closure keeps it tucked away as she swings it around as any kid would. Cute design and made my little girl very happy.

This is a cool little chalk bag that my kids love. It's straight forward and easy to use. It functions as you would expect. The bag size is maybe half the size of an adult chalk bag. The waist expands comfortably even to the size of my waist (about 35 inches). I guess the only possible negative is that chalk may fall out of the bag easier than an adult chalk bag just because the depth is smaller.

Exactly what you’d expect in a basic yet solid chalk bag, just in a scaled down size: a bag with a stiffened rim, fleece lining, a toggle closure, a waist cord, and brush loop. The smaller size and graphics are the only things that set this apart as “kids.” Given that the price is less expensive than a standard (i.e., non-kid bag) this is a great choice for you if: - you’ve got really small hands for an adult - you think your kid might not stick to climbing past the kid years or - you will get multiple kids using it. Most important to keep in mind is size. It is definitely smaller than a standard size chalk bag (see photo comparison, kid bag on left, standard on right). Average to large adult hands can dip fingers into the kid bag for some loose chalk just fine, but there’s not enough space for an average to large adult hand to get a grip around a chalk ball inside. This means most kids will outgrow this bag by teenage years (not to mention they’ll tire of the kid graphics). But if you fall into one of the categories mentioned above, this is an excellent bag, especially for the price.

My son is 3 and sees my chalk bag and always wants to stick his hands in like dada. The black diamond kids chalk bag is sturdy, well stitched, and easy enough for my kid to use the elastic string closure. He refused to put climbing chalk in it however. He did put this sidewalk chalk in it and held very well. He's colored his climbing holds on the swing set but hasn't used it directly on his hands. If you want your kid to fit in at the gym but don't want chalk everywhere, then this bag will do the trick.

This is a well constructed chalk bag, but coming from black diamond that was no surprise. The bag has solid construction with durable materials and soft felt inside to hold the chalk. The only surprise to me was how small this bag actually is. This is a great bag for kids age 8 or under, any older and they should move on to a full size bag. Overall great product just keep the size in mind if you are ordering online vs seeing it in person.

My kids love to climb and my littlest climber is four years old. A traditional sized chalk bag, while looking hilarious on her, just doesn’t do the job right. Why does a 4 year old human need a chalk bag? Because that particular 4 year old human has two older sibling who have chalk bags. Clearly the 4 year old needs one too! This chalk bag is perfect for her! She gets to feel cool as she looks like her older sibs and the bag is proportionate to her body size. It’s a great product for young climbers! This is a great basic chalk bag for small hands. It’s compact and retains chalk very well. Some bags have fabric on the top closure that’s too stiff resulting in poor closure and chalk leaking out if the bag tips over. This bag closes tight and creates a seal that’s on par with my best adult sized chalk bag. It’s a good size for my 12 year old’s hands. I wear a size small adult glove and can use the bag as well. Larger hands may require a wider opening.

Great size for littler hands and waist (strap is not too think). The rim is firmer and stays open well, very well made, and a fun design/colors. It is overall a great kid's chalk bag. 7 year old appreciates having gear that fits just right!

My daughter absolutely LOVES this chalk bag! She is 6 and loves climbing at our local gym at our local university. She feels so cool when she wears it and has her own chalk for climbing. We love Black Diamond products and this is no exception. The bag is great and we love all the colors.

So cute can’t wait to give it to my little cousin for Christmas. He calls chalk salt when he’s climbing, he’s so cute.
