Perfect for freediving
I use this poncho after freediving (or any other water activity) here on Oahu and love how long and roomy it is. I always get compliments on the pattern I bought (retro curve). It's absorbent, but not so much that you are walking around in a heavy wet towel. Considering the humidity, it dries very quickly here. I have other ponchos that are a cotton blend, which are also cozy, but take forever to dry and this one packs down so much smaller and more neatly that it's perfect for traveling when you have limited space in your luggage. I did notice that it felt stiff when brand new but that went away after washing it for the first time. The fabric is super soft and feels nice against the skin. I've also worn it at the beach when I need a bit of wind protection and it does a good job with that as well. Love the oversized hood. Ample space in the front pocket for your phone, keys, snacks, etc. Can't think of anything I don't like about it.
Works well for changing out
Works well for changing out of wet shorts and getting dressed at the beach. Packtowl material is reasonably compact for a pack or beach bag, comfortable, and works super-well as a towel. Hood provides extra warmth if needed after winter plunges.
Love this light weight poncho
Love this light weight poncho for surfing in the PNW! I had a cotton towel changing poncho before this and it would never dry out from damp conditions. This poncho changed the game with it's quick dry material.
Great for road side changing
Great for road side changing after surfing or kayaking! Button shirts are easier to put on than T shirts under the poncho.
Such a simple but useful
Such a simple but useful product. Now use it all the time changing after bike rides, at beach, trailheads, etc.
