It’s Fanny Pack Not a Backpack
Have a Quatrevelo also a trike and touring bikes I use this bag to small battery for my Quatrevelo powers all lights have two handed bar headlights, 3 red flashing lights really good ones for my trike and dog trailer. And other stuff for cycling it’s like a handlebar bike bag only it’s a fanny pack I place in my, Quatrevelo on battery mount plate side of my trike and into a pannier of my touring bike and trike I can buckle it around my waist and ware my medium size backpack as combo. I’m considering a second so I have two one on each side of trike.
Good for city exploration
Using it for city exploring: I really like the dual carry feature of crossbody and hip belt. If you use both it does not fall down awkwardly when you undo the hip belt. It also feels very secure from potential "purse snatchers". The volume seems to include the side pockets. So the main compartment is smaller than expected. The side pockets hold ~500 ml bottle(s). I usually have a bottle in one of them. Not so convenient: The zipper pulls of the main compartment have a tendency to disappear next to the side pockets and are sometimes hard to dig out. Overall a useful bag.
great for a day out
We use this as a family bag for 2 people and our dog on neighborhood walks and short hikes. Fits everything we need for us to have water, food, sunscreen, and extras for everyone! Sometimes we even put our layers in it too. We like the waist strap and the shoulder crossover strap for extra support. One of us is tall and the other is short and we both find it comfortable to carry for long stints.
Too small for hikes
The body of this pack is much smaller than I expected, and my measurements of the dimensions are significantly less than those on the website. The exterior straps are not convenient for strapping on a jacket. The upper back is also quite firm and digs into my back. I'll be returning it.
I like it
Guys I am happy with this pack. It features a large inner pocket and a smaller inner pocket for keys or credit cards with a zipper closure. On the side you have a place for water bottles I have a glass 16 oz flask that used to have kombucha in it from Aldi as well as a 16 oz insulated flask for coffee also from Aldi those are both pictured. You can tuck the waste straps out of the way in the back and use the detachable shoulder strap if you prefer to carry it like a purse or a crossbody. Sadly I am not able to upload a video or photos for some reason.
Great for short hikes
Slightly smaller than I expected but I like it. Comfortable to wear.
A Good Fanny Pack
This pack is of good quality, however, not advertised well. There is no world in which this is a 5 liter bag. Good for a night out for a show, but barely fits a water filter & 1L bottle. I will probably keep it, but for a back country day bag it’s WAY too small.
It’s ok but small
It’s actually cute and looks sturdy—but it’s not 5 liters in my judgment! And the bottle holders are small. If that’s all you need then I’d buy but I need to carry regular bottles say 20 oz and also need the 5 liter size
great day pack
Both me and my partner love this pack. It is comfortable and it holds the perfect amount for the family. We use it to carry water for us and our dog, and even a bottle for our baby, can fit a small jacket, phones, keys, snacks… :) We went to REI and tried all the packs and this one was our favorite because it is comfortable for both of us and has good adjustability and capacity. Would recommend for walking and hiking, but not for running.
