weird fit - made for pencil legs
Trying to decide whether to take these back. The waist is fine, but the lining is weirdly tight along the length of the thigh. FTR, I don't have large thighs (I am 24 inches around at top of thigh - I purchased size M). It's probably fine for shorter workouts but I run ultramarathons and a small thing like that can become a big deal over the long haul. Too bad because I love the pockets (zippers!).
Awesome running shorts
PYNRS gear is always very comfortable. I’ve purchased many brands of shorts for running, but most are missing something. These check all the boxes. Extremely comfortable material, great pockets on the outer shorts and the liner pockets have a little flap to securely hold my iPhone without it bouncing around. Love these shorts and plan to pick them up in other colors.
Great shorts - love the color!
Love these shorts - especially the Aqua color! The hidden pocket in the compression lining is perfect for stashing keys, etc. and it isn't noticeable during a run. I've run two races so far in these and look forward to more!
Liner not good
I bought these shorts a few months ago primarily for the liner with the built in phone pocket. After my third run, the crotch ripped in multiple places. Very disappointing considering the cost.
Low Quality
I bought these to replace running shorts that I used for a dozen plus years. I am not hard on clothing. The crotch area of the shorts' liner wore a hole through in six months and I use them an average of less than once a week. They are too expensive for that lack of quality. I give them a two star only because they were nice while they lasted but they are not sustainable at this low of quality.
Good For A Certain Body Type
The quality is there, I only have issues with the liner. If you have built quads it will ride up your legs and pinch your under your groin. It doesn’t help that the liner is thick, and has a lot of excess room for storage. Be warned that you will chafe and pinch if you have thicker legs, if you don’t — good quality running shorts
Good Shorts
Material is nice, packaging was questionable for the price tag. However — I believe that’s more of an REI warehouse problem. ** If you have larger legs! I would say avoid. My waist fits in perfectly but my thighs are unfortunately too big for the elastic underlining. Still semi-comfortable but I’m choking my legs. **
they could have been the best
I bought these 3 months ago, within the month the inner shorts tore at the seam. The inner tights do not fit as properly as they should, the inseam hangs significantly lower and as I run they pull hard. One pull on the tights and they ripped right up… could have been amazing but unfortunately they are in the trash.
Great for jogging or a workout!
By far my favorite shorts!!! The fabric is probably from outter space, it’s durable and so comfy all in one. I love the phone pocket underneath the top layer very useful. Sweet design!
Comfort and Style
Bought these short and they are my favorite running shorts. They are very comfortable and having a zipper on the side pockets is convenient during running.
