Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don’t get to overwhelmed with this bag it’s big and has many many compartments but it’s lightweight, it’s so easy to put on and tighten and clip the waist band. We use our backpacks for everything but my favorite is taking them when we travel with our kids, there is compartments for everything, your able to adjust the straps and has great back support. We use it usually every weekend when we take our kids hiking and even though it’s just a few hour hike it’s definitely not a over kill. We have our canoe trip planned this spring and can’t wait to take it. I’m 5’2 and fits me great and my husband is 6’, we just adjust the straps and we are good to go.

This pack is TOUGH

In the market for a smaller bag right not, but just has to stop and write a review for the Amber 44. For 3.5 years while I was a field forester this was my main pack. It was in the bush, daily, for over 3 years. NEVER on trail. Every day was straight up bushwhacking. My pack was forever being dragged and slogged through everything (I was notoriously hard on gear) and other that a couple small spots that the fabric is wearing a bit, the pack is still in great condition. Fully functional. Nothing broke, ripped, or tore. 3.5 years of every day, all weather, all season use. I would absolutely recommend it.

GREAT FOR SHORT PEOPLE TO HAS Adjustable straps!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this book bag is one of a kind. It’s the only one that I’ve ever seen like it and it’s absolutely great. Not to mention it’s made out of recycled material and it even has adjustable straps. There’s so much space I’ve included a video to show you all the pockets and how much space is there and the adjustable fit on the back carbon footprint equivalence equals 36 driven miles which is 58 KM! 40% reduction in the carbon footprint. This is definitely a sustainable product and it’s definitely worth the price that you pay it even has breathable supported comfort along with massive hip belt pockets. I am only 53 and this book bag fits me perfect and it even feels super wonderful on my back after having two kids I would have to say this is the book bag for me because any other book bag hurts my back this one does not I highly recommend. If you’re short like me I’m looking for a hiking backpack or even just a backpack in general this one is perfect.

Not sure what to pack in this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this fantastic backpack complimentary from Influenster and Gregory in exchange for my honest review. I want to start off by saying how form fitting the back pack was to my smaller female frame. Some backpacks feel like they just hold your items on a boulder behind you but this is specifically designed to almost hug your body while wearing it. It’s so comfortable. My only concern is that the opening to place clothes in is very small. I anticipate it’s going to be difficult to get my belongings in and out due to the constraint of the small opening. It makes it difficult to pack up bulky clothes and other necessities.

So much room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This backpack is amazing. There are so many compartments and plenty of room to use for hiking or just traveling in general. All of the compartments close securely. The backpack fits well on my back without being too bulky. I am 4 ‘ 11 “ and it feels comfortable when wearing. I like the straps that attack around your waist and chest to help with the weight. Overall, this is a good quality backpack.

The Best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh my goodness! This has got to be the best backpack I’ve ever owned! First off I love the color (Lichen), it has such a cool vibe to me. Next, the material - truly a dream! So soft and smooth, nothing at all like the more inexpensive backpacking bags I’ve owned. A ton of pockets for all those small things that tend to get buried in the bottom of the pack. And of course, the zippers! You can just tell they’re high quality but the way the move. I’m not going to be worried about the little latch breaking off or any of the material getting stuck in one. They’re fantastic! Is it pricey? Yes! But will you be glad you bought it? Absolutely! If you enjoy hiking and camping like I do, you will WANT to own one of these!

Some good, but overall disappointing.

I purchased this to replace a much larger pack that I was looking to downsize and tried on the osprey ila but ultimately landed on this Gregory pack. The pack is durably made no doubt, but I felt many of the features fell short of my expectations and overall I regretted the purchase. I was able to fit 5 days/nights worth of gear, food and 2 L of water with no issue. The ways this pack fell short for me were during use. Loading and unloading was a little challenging due to the narrow size of the pack. I felt this was a little bit awkward and would have preferred a wider/shorter pack overall, but this was a minor preference. My biggest frustrations were with the outer pockets. Because inner bag space was limited, I was hoping to make use of the exterior mesh pockets and was thoroughly disappointed to discover that the side pockets have zero elastic or drawstring at the opening. The pockets were roomy at the bottom, but for what? I couldn’t fit anything in them besides my smart water bottles even though there was plenty of space in the bottom of the pocket. The top was narrow, tight and immovable. The front pocket did have some stretch but is lacking in shape and space. The two mesh sections are stretchy, but ultimately it was difficult to store much of anything in this pocket due to the pointed shape of the bottom edge of the pocket and the fabric choice for the center of the front pocket which was not stretchy. When the pack was full, it was really tough to get anything in the pocket, and the shape acted like a pressure point—squeezing my gear out the entire trip. The hip pockets…I couldn’t access them with one hand, ever. The material is not structural enough or maybe the shape is off, or the zippers should go the other way? I had to stop and use both hands every time to zip/unzip these pockets which was very very frustrating while trying to navigate dangerous terrain with trekking poles. Comfort wise, I don’t have many complaints. I felt that the pack weight was fantastic and only had one spot on my clavicle and neck that I noticed any chafing and discomfort. Ultimately it was just not quite hitting the mark for me and I wish I hadn’t purchased it…

Quality + comfort

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great quality pack with a lot of nice features- it is comfortable and very adjustable which I enjoy. I like the many compartments. I am not the biggest fan of the color, but will get lots of use out of this.
