very flattering and comfortable
I am a 34F and bought an XL. It is so so comfortable. I don’t know that I have had a more comfortable tankini top. The fabric below the bust hangs and hugs the body loosely. Like another reviewer, I have a bit of an exaggerated hourglass shape. This is really flattering. I tried on a L and it also fit, but the XL was looser in the back and smoother of a look. I bought a swimskirt to match in an XL as well and I’m anywhere from a size 10-14. I’m really happy with this color and the mix matching this line offers.
Cute! But not for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The material was nice. The cut was cute. I especially liked the ruffle bottom. But the fit wasn’t right for me. It was shorter than I thought and felt like it accentuated my little pooch. I was hoping it would be longer. Also, I wasn’t sure about the floating bra band. I am a 34D and the band felt like it was loose around my rib cage. But there is no way a small would have handled my D size. Maybe if they offer Small DD it would have felt more supportive. If you want to show a little belly but still feel covered, and the floating band fits you this would be a great top, just bit quite right for me.
Flattering and Sporty
Hands down the best tankini top I've ever had. I'm 5'4" with an hourglass figure (36B bust, 29 waist) and the small fit well. It's extremely flattering because it nips in under the bust. Love the minimal, feminine design. Lengthwise, it comes to 1-2" below my navel. Looks really cute with high waisted bikini bottoms. Planning to order another in a different colorway. Highly recommend.
VersatileTankini Top
This is the best tankini top I have ever bought on-line. The shelf bra needs improvement for larger breasts. The size-guide recommended XL but that was too big so I bought a 2nd one in a L and that is just right, but the shelf bra isn't so great. The best part is It can be worn with shorts or jeans too, which is a nice option on any hot day.
So wished it would have worked
I was so looking forward to this swim top. It's different and looked like it would be good for my less than flat mid section. I usually wear small or medium in tops so ordered a medium. The shelf bra fit pretty good (36B) but the rest was so tight. And the fabric seems thinner than most swimsuit material so every single bump and lump was accentuated in such a horrible way. So I tried a large. The fit was great for my midsection and would have been so cute to wear, but going up one size, the shelf bra was too big lending absolutely no support. I tried different bra pads hoping to add some "oomph" but it just left my girls, though small, looking sloppy. Too bad Carve Designs didn't add some better support in this top. I got the Amelia top in a medium and it fit perfect and has a little underwire to provide support. I guess if I wanted it for a top to wear and toss on a sport bra under, it would be good for hiking or working out. But for swim - noooo... Had to return.
Great for mastetomy gals!

I have tissue expanders and needed something with fuller coverage but also not too tight on the bra line. This tank totally fit the bill, and its so cute. I will totally wear it after my exchange surgury when I want more coverage!

This covers in the right places yet without making me look shorter. It can be worn straight from the beach with a pair of shorts or skirt over the bottoms for additional activities. Yay
Love the fit! It’s tight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the fit! It’s tight in the right places up top and looser at the bottom. It’s something you could wear all day and other people wouldn’t even know it’s a swim top. Also, Billie Blue is my new favorite color. I usually wear black, so I’m happy to have a bright blue to mix in.
I normally wear a size
I normally wear a size 4 or 6 in tops, but the size XS Tankini was the best fit for me. The chest support was just right, and the padded cups provided good coverage. This tankini was so cute- it doubled as a cute tank top. Belly was exposed about 2-3 inches above my swim bottoms.
Length is good for short
Length is good for short torso. Scalloped edge nice Neckline a little wide but ok good coverage for a 38C bust, stayed contained and stripes did not fall down . Cute with a patterned swim skirt
