Absolutely love the green color! Lightweight but keeps you warmer then the typical slick running fabrics. Wicks away the sweat without leaving you chilled in the colder months. Versatile 1/4 zip to adjust temperature as you run. My new go to layer over or under or by itself!
Nice shirt but not the same as the old Dash 1/2 zip
Nice shirt, purchased on sale. The orchid color is a pretty lilac/pink. The thumbs holes and zippered high neck are useful when exercising in cooler weather. The cut is fitted but not snug (5'2, 105 lbs, size S). I would have given 5 stars, but Brooks made modifications in the formerly awesome Dash; this newer version has no cuffs, has lighter weight and less lux looking fabric, has no ventilated contrasting fabric under the arms, the contrasting ribbon on the back is replaced with an elastic loop. While I miss those features, I would buy this again on sale.
Changes in the Dash
This is my 4th or 6th Quarter zip Dash top. I am very disappointed in the quality, compared to previous purchased Dash's. The material is thinner, the hand warmers have been redesigned, and are an inferior replacement, and even the shirt hanger on the back of the neck has been replaced by a small loop of elastic. So disappointed in these changes which have changed my opinion of the dash.
Beautiful, functional, comfy
I love this top. I forgot to wash it with like colors the first time and it did NOT bleed onto whites. I let it air dry. It launders beautifully. I’m a fan of 1/2 zip base layers because I start out freezing and get warm quickly and this fabric and design works well to help regulate body temps. The blue is beautiful.
Finally!!
I love this jacket because it works for running!!! It is short enough and light enough to provide a layer of protection without feeling like it gets in the way. I have finally found a replacement for my go to running jacket from years ago. I immediately bought another color so I would have options!
Soft.
I love the soft fabric and loose but not baggy cut around the torso. My only complaint is that when it’s zipped all the way up, the collar feels tight and uncomfortable around my neck, which will really only matter on cold days. I’ve had other Brooks half zips that were fine around the neck.

I love this shirt... nice and warm but not overly warm. Fits well. I took a Medium as I am 5'2" and 115 lbs and have a bit extra around my tummy ... I love the green color. Well made.
Disappointing “new” version
The cut is fine but the material is way thinner than it was in older versions and it’s not nearly as soft as they used to be. It felt cheap, especially for the price, so I returned it.
Great running shirt!
This is warm but still thin and quite comfortable. I did have to order a M and I am always a XS/S. The small was too short in the body and arms for me. I'm 5'7", 132 lbs.
I love this shirt! Bought all three. Super soft, great under layer or on its own. I am 5’4, 118lbs and the large fits the way I like it-not too clingy, just loose enough
