Needed new shorts for weight training: the Reviews were right!

Recently, I decided to upgrade from the gym shorts I have had for 10 years. Originally, I was going to go with a competitor. Decided to do some research and came across Rhone on a Men's Health article that reviewed gym shorts. Rolled the dice and ordered 3 pair. These are hands down the most functional and comfortable workout shorts I have ever owned. They stretch in all the right places and even have a little zipper pocket to keep the key to my locker. These are worth the price - keep an eye on the website as I got a 3 pair deal. Next on my list, I want to try their button down shirts with stretch.

Poor material

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these about a year ago, and there is already holes developing in the pockets, soon I don’t be able to put anything in the pockets anymore making them unusable. Very disappointed in the quality of the material given the price paid. I switched over to these from the “Mako” shorts which were discontinued, those were much better.

Best exercise short!

One of the best shorts I’ve ever had. Fabric is amazing soft, material flexible and breathable, and fit is super comfortable. I couldn’t be happier and am looking at getting more, in other colors. Such a huge Rhone fan!

My New Go-To Shorts

These are my favorite Rhone shorts. The material is soft, stretchy, and cool with a luxurious feel. I also like the drawstring and pockets. I wear them all the time at the gym, playing pickleball, and lounging at home.

Top of the Stack

These ones are my favorite shorts at the moment. I've used them for anything from casual days (walking/hanging out) to playing tennis and soccer and they've worked wonderfully for both types of use. Material has a really nice feel to it and seems to retain its quality after multiple washings. Pockets are comfortable (including for tennis where in many other shorts the pockets end up too tight or too wide), there is also a zippered pocket for credit cards that comes in handy. Other things I appreciate are the high quality draw strings, minimal branding, and the overall cut of the shorts. Amongst other shorts from Ten Thousand, Arcteryx, Adidas, Umbro, Lotto and Nike these have been sitting at the top of the stack.

Very Comfortable; A Bit Roomy

I recently bought two pairs of these shorts as long overdue replacements for old gym shorts. These Pursuit shorts are lightweight and very comfortable, and are great for workouts. As with any clothes that only come in S, M, L,.. sizes, it is very difficult to pick the right one when you are at the edge of a size. For me, my typical waste size is 31, which puts me at the bottom of Medium. After receiving them, they are somewhat large on me. Not to the point of returning them, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Smalls would have been a better fit.

Great shorts just one small exception

Great pair of shorts, would wear mostly for casual outdoor activities and not necessarily for working out. The only concern I have are regarding the pockets. They are not as firm as I would like them to be in order to be useful. I noticed that if I put my phone or even wallet in the main pockets it would sag quite a bit and almost fall past below the bottom of the short. Perhaps a little bit more reinforcement on the lining? Otherwise they're great shorts. If they came in 5" without pockets I'd definitely use them to go on my runs.

Rhône Pursuit Shorts: NYC’s Perfect Fitness-to-Brunch Companion

As a New Yorker always on the go, I’ve found the Rhône Pursuit Short in navy to be a perfect fit for my active lifestyle. These shorts not only hug my body comfortably during intense workouts at the gym but also dry impressively fast after a sweaty session, making them ideal for my packed schedule. The sleek navy color and stylish design allow me to transition seamlessly from a morning run in Central Park to a casual brunch with friends, embodying the versatile spirit of city living.

Versatile, Comfortable, and Stylish!

Another fantastic addition to my Rhone rotation! I wore these on a scorching New England summer day: an outdoor run, followed by a Pilates class, and then straight to the pool. They stayed incredibly comfortable, looked sharp, and felt appropriate for every setting. While I generally slightly prefer lined shorts, I truly did not mind the unlined design here. After several washes, they have held their color and durability beautifully. Already eyeing another color. Highly recommend!
