OK Speakers, Bad Communication
These wireless speakers fit easily inside Smith helmets. The buttons on the outside are easy to press with gloves on making turning them on/off, taking an incoming call or playing music pretty easy. Where these fall dreadfully short is the Group communication. I tried to use these at two different resorts and the experience was awful. While stationary less than 20 yards apart, one set would stay connected and the other would go in and out. Both using cell phones on the same network, so it wasn't differences in coverages between carriers. When losing connection you hear a tone from the speaker, so going do the slopes that's all you hear.
Horrible Sound Quality
The sound quality is extremely low on these speakers. Additionally, they have close to zero bass which makes listening to anything like edm very unpleasant. These sound as if they are only worth $15, definitely not 10x that. DO NOT BUY.
Decent
These are decent. They play music. They ring if someone calls. As other reviews have noted, the group listening feature is unreliable. My biggest gripe is the combo of my helmet pads with the speakers… on a long day the combo puts pressure on my ears and is uncomfortable.
Battery quality is poor
They didn’t last two seasons. The battery life kept getting shorter and shorter until one day they didn’t turn on after charging.
