Coming apart after 6 months of use
I bought these shoes in October 2024. Fit great. Super comfortable. It’s now May, and I’ve hiked just under 150 miles in them (about 6 months of use, as I wore warm boots over the winter). These shoes are already coming apart. The rubber piece at the toe has almost completely separated from the shoe. This large gap means plenty of water can get in, negating the GTX. I’m frustrated how quickly they need repair. Lowa is a high-quality brand and I expected more.
Would be perfect if not for cramped toe box
The toe box on these shoes is short and cramped - which seems to be a trend in shoes these days. If it weren't for that I would love them. I want a shoe with firm shock absorption and not all the squishy cushioning that is so popular right now and these shoes fit that bill. Unfortunately the cramped toe box is uncomfortable.
