I burned through a ton of cheap tents before finally investing in this one. It's by far the sturdiest tent I've ever owned with solid metal poles that come in almost 1/2' thick and enough stakedown/guyline points to get you through a pretty good storm. It also insulates surprisingly well (my very cold averse friend was cozy in here on a few sub 20 nights). My only complaint is that it didn't come with a footprint as REI previously advertised. If you're looking for the last, best tent you'll ever own I'd put my money on this one.
