I bought these as I loved my very first pair of Salomons. This pair I've only had a couple months, hike once a week. One of the loops that hold the laces already broke, with only normal wear and tear. They did give me a gift card number for the amount, I'm trying another pair. I hope the quality is better. If you're an avid hiker, I don't recommend these.
I bought these a couple of months ago to replace my other Solomon hiking shoes which last approximately 5 years. I was really excited about these and they are good but maybe not for me. I find the foot base to be too hard, I have flat feet so the arch can be painful. They are great for hiking on woodsy trails, great tread. I will still use them but not for long hike. I love Solomon’s for their long toe bed, these are a true fit. But I need a little extra length with half sizing up. They may be a better fit for others with normal feet.
These shoes are way too narrow in the toe box, they started giving me bunions (and I have feet with very average width)! I have never had pain on the side of my big toes before. They hurt no matter what I do (like light city walking or hiking with heavy gear). Also, one of the lace loops just broke, making the lacing all uneven, and that happened after not even 3 months of use. Please avoid Salomon, they are poor quality and way too narrow for normal feet!!
I am that weird woman's size 10.5 (if you are this size, you understand the struggle). Sadly, these were too large for me length-wise. When I tried walking in them, the roof of the shoe was hitting the top of my foot, causing pain. I think sizing down a half size would be ideal. They are gorgeous though, and very sturdy/durable feeling.
I wanted to try a different sneaker than what I usually go for, I honestly saw them on a model from a company I purchase clothes from and I had to look at this brand. I love these sneakers and have pictures of the other couple pair I WILL purchase at some point. Super comfortable and durable and pretty!
They feel kind of cheap and not a lot of cushioning. I bought the same model in 2017 and they feel like they are in better shape than these brand new ones. Likely won’t be my go to hiking shoe but they are cute for casual activity.
I’ve been on a few different hikes with these and I’m pleased. I feel stable and balanced when taking on inclines and wet/muddy conditions. There was no break-in period: they were comfy right away. I’d buy these again!
The shoe is nice and wide up front which helps with my bunions. The brand has been my go to for quick lacing and the way the top of the laces tuck. Good traction on rocky treks, and have good breathability .
Loved the support and comfort that these shoes provided. I went on a medium-difficulty trek but they held up so well. giving me a lot of grip and ankle support. Good choice
Bought for travelling and these are perfect. Have done a few hikes in them and they feel comfy, secure and grippy, they don’t feel heavy at all. Highly recommend!
