Am I happy with them? Yes!
Every body is saying that they pille, every fine merino wool sock will pille, Arcteryx socks are no diffrent, but they are soft, breathable, and have such a beautifull logo hahaha, besides they are cheap, the technical climbing/running/hiking socks are not as comfortable. I am still giving them 5 stars.
Warm and beautifully designed socks
I like it because it fits my foot size well and is warm.
Awesome socks!!
REI comes through again. Great socks for a great price.
Worst socks ever
I've worn these socks twice so far. After the first wear, there was significant pilling on the material along the insoles and bottom. I followed the size guide and bought a M for size 8 women's shoes. The socks fit properly when I tried them on, but as I started hiking, they loosened, pulled forwards off my feet, and bunched uncomfortably. I have tons of great Arcteryx gear, but these socks are just the worst.

Great socks
So I bought all three types of lightweight socks Arcteryx released this year and I must say these are the most universal socks as they go well with Norvan’s and Aerios Mid’s, otherwise they are exactly same as low cut and crew cut, also soft and comfortable, they might seem little thigh when you look at them but they do strech a lot and do not compress the foot, so you do maintain foot comfort.
Initial Thoughts
Very initial thoughts only, I bought two pairs in large and wear a 10 or 10.5 shoe. I've worn these for two, 10 hour days, with about two miles of walking. They are very soft against the skin with no itching at all. The toe seam is relatively flat and I can't actually feel it. The upper section covers the ankle bone completely and goes up about 2" past the ankle. These are lightly padded and will be great for any type of running and are high enough to be worn with a mid cut hiking boot. Temps have ranged from mid 70's to mid 80's and my feet were sweaty at the end of each day, but the wool blend works great to disperse sweat, making my feet more comfortable. There is no stink. These were worn one day with Salomon X Raise shoes and another day with Salomon XA Pro's. They are just snug enough that they don't bunch up and are just loose enough to be able to wear a thin liner underneath if needed when cold weather comes. They are priced very competitively with other, similar socks.
I'm convinced
Bought a few pairs of these and the full length socks. Cant speak to winter use, but they're great for summer use. I've worn them full trail runs, long hiking/scrambling days, and inside of work boots for 12 hours on hot days. No smell and very little sweat, so those are a welcome addition.
Amazing Socks
Wore these out backpacking on the West Coast Trail and they’re honestly amazing. Super comfortable socks that left me with zero blisters and very happy feet. They’ve also been great for trail running and dry out very quickly if you do happen to go through a stream or two. Highly recommend!
Good but could be better
I've owned them for a few months. Please note that they are NOT 100% wool, which I thought they were. They are already beginning to pill, which I am not happy about. So, I'd say they are decent socks - but I'd suggest they are not up to Arc'teryx standards.
Great for trekking through the city!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recenly bought these at the Seattle Store and used them on a recent trip to New York City. Wore them all day during the convention and walking all over the city. Very comfy, good moisture wick, and stylish with my Yeezy's!
