Easy to use, quick setup, firm support

Worked great for my 50lb kids. Self inflate is meh, but took 6-7 blows to fully inflate by mouth and is thin but very firm. I doubled stacked them and even I at 225lbs found it incredibly comfortable to lay on. Definitely car camp equipment but not impossible to backpack with if you have the room for it.

Comfortable

Have used this bed for approximately 7 days in two different campsites. Very comfortable, easy to use, it says it self inflates but it takes a few hours so I do recommend to use a pump if you need to inflate it quicker. I highly recommend.

Too small for me, probably good for kids

Purchased the Kindercamp Sleeping Pad to sleep in a beach shelter (tarp floor over sand) at a history event in Oregon. The shorter-than-usual length appealed to me for fitting into tight spaces, and on that point it is perfect. The unusual, simple (kid-friendly?) valve system for inflation and deflation works quickly; but unlike more typical valves, you can't blow into the valve like a balloon to really fill this self-inflating pad with more air than it will draw in on its own. Unfortunately, this pad was just too thin for my comfort in the conditions under which I used it. However, I think it would be O.K. for kids to sleep on over a softer surface like carpet, grass or some other relatively forgiving base.

Grandpa’s gift

Bought this for my five year old granddaughter. She regularly goes on hikes with her dad and grandpa when I am visiting. She loved having her own pack so she can carry some of her own gear, snacks etc:

Not comfortable

I bought this for my 9 year old son. We picked it up on the way for a few days of camping. The ground was relatively even and clear of debris where we set up the tent, but he could feel everything in the dirt. It didn’t provide any padding at all. It was chilly at night, so I do think it provided some insulation from the ground.

These are incredible! Comfy, Easy!

Love it!!! Even works for an adult if you use the pillow up above the mat. We ended up in an old tent that leaked terribly from rain actually filled up with puddles inside but these kept us dry even in puddles. Our friend with a foam mat on the other hand was absolutely SOAKED.

Great option for short adults!

I'm 5'2" (158 cm) and this is a great option for an all-around sleeping pad. Affordability, size/weight, and R rating made me try this in the first place -- it's been my go-to for several years!
