Nikwax  Sports Refresh Deodorizing Cleaner

Not for me, but my stanky ski partner. It was borderline nasal abuse having to share a ride home at the end of a good ski day. I gave it a test run on my own base layers after 3 weeks on trail, and worked some magic. Fingers crossed this will do the trick for him and I can stop buying car fresheners in bulk. That or anyone looking for a new ski partner?

Don't give up on those residual, questionable odors in your workout clothes! I found that Sports Refresh removes even the toughest odors from workout clothes, especially the dreaded bike shorts. Another awesome product in the lineup for Nikwax. They don't come out with new products often but this one is a MUST to check out if you battle with cleaning and removing tough odors. Looks like they updated the packaging too on all their bottles, looks great.

Awesome stuff!! Decided to give this product a shot (since I'm familiar with Nikwax) and I am really happy that I did! I used it to wash all of my running socks & underwear and it got all of the old stench out!! Did not leave any strong fragrant smell either which I prefer. Seems like this bottle should last me a while too. Will be using this regularly for my sweaty gear now.

As a long time fan of Nikwax, I decided to try their new Sports Refresh product on my workout clothes and team sports uniforms. Sports Refresh works on minimizing hard to get out odor. Sports Refresh does not leave behind any strong odor either. The larger bottle lasts longer too. I highly recommend Sports Refresh for gym clothes - it works!

So we've been using the Nix Wax products for years to keep our snow gear clean and waterproof with excellent results, but have never used the sports refresh. With an active family, we decided to give Sports Refresh a try and it's been working out great. It has a clean smell, and does a good job of deodorizing sports clothing. Also, it does a nice job of lifting tough grass and dirt residue from sports clothing as well. As with other NixWax products I'd definitely recommend shaking the product as directed before use, and selecting the extra rinse function on your washing machine if available. Glad we picked up two bottles and will be re-ordering.

This stuff works great! Trusted brand so I expected nothing less. Used it on all my workout clothes. No residual fragrance. Good size bottle that should last some time.

This is probably the best sport gear wash available. Proper cleaning and it keeps the tec and stretch materials in great shape and soft like new. Also keeps everything smelling fresh for longer. If you run with tights or cycle with padded shorts/bibs/suits, this is an absolute must for the skin tight and on skin wear since it doesn't block the breathability of the fabrics like I have noticed is the case with other washes. Great buy, and will continue to buy and recommend.

I had some well used athletic clothes that were ripe. I tried some home remedies that included vinegar and soaking to some success, but still not all the way odor free. I threw those clothes thru a cycle with this sample pack and I am happy to report that they smell like nothing! I am happy to not be "that guy" now while wearing some staple base layers from my closet. The free sample got me hooked, I'll throw down for a bigger supply.

My wife and I have noticed that all dry moisture-wicking materials tend to have a synthetic smell. This smell becomes more pronounced after use and doesn’t wash out with regular detergent. At first, I thought it was a gimmick and assumed they were infused with perfume to mask odors, but that turned out to be false. I’m not sure how they achieve it, but it works!

This product is so good that honestly I just want to use it on every load of laundry. We are an active family- two adults and two teen boys, and have a lot of smelly clothing to wash each week. THIS WORKS LIKE A CHARM even on my younger son's very smelly socks. All of his clothes are clean and without odor. LOVE IT
