Great all around shoe for littles
We’ve put our kiddo in these since he started walking and he’s now 4.5. Love them!! They stay on, are easy to put on and take off, and are durable. Our only complaint is that now that he’s older and much harder on his shoes, the Velcro closure could be more robust as the Velcro is wearing out faster than the rest of the shoe. But overall, best shoe we’ve found for small feet!

Love the rainbow but not durable shoes
So glad to find rainbow shoes but these are not durable. The first pair we got, the Velcro didn't stick after a couple months. Merrell sent us another pair. This second pair we've had for less than a month and they already have a hole. There are two little breathing holes(?) that are built into the shoe, but they are in a spot on the shoe that is prone to ripping, which then makes a big hole. I am so sad because my kid LOVES these shoes, but they are just not durable.
Picky toddler loves these shoes!
My toddler loves these shoes! She is super picky about shoes and has to have room to move her toes. These shoes have had no complaints and she wears them to softball!

Terrible Velcro
We had a pair of these sneakers in a size 5 and they are now on their second kid, but I got a size 10 for my 3 year old and the Velcro stopped working after 3 months. Through their warranty program, I ordered a replacement pair and the Velcro on the replacement only lasted 1 mo. That is so unfortunate because we love everything else about the shoe!
Velcro shot in under 2 months
Less than 2 months into wearing this shoe and the Velcro no longer sticks ☹️. Super disappointed as I’ve been a Merrell fan for 20+ years, and never had one of their shoes disappoint until this morning ast year. We purchased another toddler sneaker last summer and those lasted 6 months. I’dxpect better Velcro quality. It does exist.

Wear out really quick. Waste of $$.
Well should have stuck to the other reviews. My kid absolutely loves them but they are falling apart! They aren’t worn daily (in the mix of a few pairs) and had them a month maybe 2. For this price point, and this brand I sure expect more. Does Merrell not stand behind their product. Plus they are very light weight!

Great shoes
These are great and affordable barefoot shoes. My kids trip less in these than other shoes and never complain while wearing them. A pair I ordered from amazon did have broken elastic which was disappointing but other than that they really are great shoes and we will be buying more.

Best shoes I’ve ever bought for our daughter
These have been our favorite shoes for months. By far the best shoe for children. Easy on and off and they STAY ON. They are wide and flexible. Perfect for growing children. My only complaint is they need to restock these so I can get my daughter the next size up!

Not durable to toddler play
Cute shoes, but toddler wore a hole in the toe box within 3 weeks. We have loved the barefoot h2o shoes for her and were disappointed that the quality of these shoes were not up to normal toddler wear.
