3rd time is a charm - best solution we have found
We have a Swiss Mountain Dog and she is tough on the door panels so we thought we would try these for an extended road trip...we know this is not the intention. They fit great (tough to see the sizing on packaging in my opinion) and performed well. She had no issues after about 5 minutes. Excellent product!

Not good for dogs with feeclaws
Not good for dogs with dewclaws...the shoe is very short so the part that cinches up is right on the dewclaw and either rubs the dewclaw raw or the dewclaw will come out over the top after a while...I do like the material its made out of as it is light and flexible.

Awesome product

The shoes fit perfect and stay on copper our new rescue pup. A couple minutes of funny walking then walking like normal. First hike with them was perfect

Good for dogs with DM

Our dog has degenerative myelopathy and these boots provide her needed traction and protection for the tops of her feet when she is knuckling. They are easy to put on, adjust to a secure fit around her slender legs, and remove after her walk. Our dog really loves going on walks, and these boots make short outdoor walks possible for her.

Too stiff and too short

Looked good and well made, but too stiff and too short in the ankle area. Would recommend a redesign that had a longer “ankle” area and pads that were softer.

Lasted 2.5 months.

Ok while they lasted but they lasted less than 3 months and REI deemed it "normal wear and tear" with holes developing on the soles. For the $ I expected (much) more than 2.5 months of use out of these.

Works great with athletic tape

We have only had them for a couple of days. I purchased them bc when my dog sprints on the cement it tears up her paws. We had a hard time getting them to stay on as she walked around the house. We decided to try putting athletic tape around her paw close to where the strap is located and they stayed on perfectly while she was sprinting outside.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. I bought these quickly online to get the sale price. My error to not notice, but who sells dog booties in a two pack? Not sure I understand that. Quality was fine and I was very happy with the price until I realized there were only two. They are being returned-doubling the price no longer makes it a good ‘sale’ deal. I love REI but this one was a MISS.
