Love these boots!
Love these boots! I was a little hesitant in ordering these boots after reading some of the reviews. I have a high arch and have never purchased a zip ankle boots. I was worried after reading the reviews that I would have trouble getting them on. I have been buying Merrell winter boots and hiking shoes for years and have never been disappointed so I took the chance. These are now my favourite boots. I just love them!!! I’ve had no problems getting them on nor zipper issues. They are extremely comfortable, very well made and look great. I ordered them on a Tuesday around 5:30 pm and they were delivered early Thursday afternoon. What more could I ask for? Thanks again Merrell for making a quality pair of boots.
Very Poor!!
I purchased these at the beginning of winter. Never wore them. So disappointed!! It requires a lot of hard work and time to put these boots on, if you can get them on at all! I do like everything about their looks, and the style was what I was looking for. I have worn many Merrell products in the past. These are something else! Some one did not do their homework! Pretty sure no product testing was done. So very disappointed and out a lot of money!!
Tight around ankles
Waited a long time for these since they were backordered. Finally got to try them on. They are very tight and stiff around the ankles... and I don't even have winter socks on yet. Walking with them was kind of clunky. They don't have a comfortable heel to toe rolling motion. Love the way they look but bummed about the construction.
Not for me
I loved the idea of this boot. But when it arrived, I couldn’t get my foot into it- narrow steep entry made it impossible to get the boot on. Unless I got my toes in and stomped. Once in the boot it was comfortable- but off and on was an issue. I have a normal size 8.5 female foot. I don’t need to fight my boots!
Didn't fit
I purchased both the size 9 and 9.5 and neither fit even when using thin socks and a plastic bag on my foot to reduce friction. Need to try size 10 but no longer in stock. Am returning today. Otherwise they appear to be an attractive walking boot but unsuitable for someone with a high instep.
So far so good, that I love it
I love these boots. It is on the bigger size. I ordered 9.5, feels almost like a 10. But I can fit my winter socks in, so I like that. Very warm and water proof. I don't have any of the issues other had.. it fits on,my ankle perfectly, zipper is ok as well.
Hard to put on
I think this is a great boot, but it has a serious design flaw that makes it super difficult to put them on. The feet get stuck and it always takes me a lot of effort to get them in. Otherwise it's good - it has kept my feet warm and dry.
Love these boots
These fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I usually take a size 10, I was recommended go up 1/2 a size and not too big. Haven't used outside yet. Super happy with the fit.
Great boots
They were just delivered and they are terrific. Great soles as one finds on hiking boots. Comfortable, easy to put on and they look nice. Delivered in a timely fashion.
