I was unsure about the UK sizing, but I read reviews and looked at the size charts at REI and Salomon; although following the charts would have meant size 6 UK, I ordered a 6.5 to allow for heavier socks in winter. Glad I did. The 6 probably would have worked, but the 6.5 is almost perfect. For reference, I normally wear a 7-7.5 in US sizes for casual shoes, and go up to an 8 for hiking boots. They are quite comfortable, and the laces allow you to control how tight the boots fit across the foot and ankle. I “skied” on carpet with them and fingers crossed they will be great on snow. All that said, it’s almost May and I won’t be putting them to the test for quite a few months.
Best cross country ski boots I’ve ever owned, and I’ve owned many since I have been skiing since 1974!
Worked great straight out of the gate. I was really impressed. Buying this exact pair for my family's other set of x country skis. I really like the no-tie laces. Super convenient. The boots were comfortable to walk in around the lodge. Fits true to street shoe size.
Fit true to size, seem warm inside and comfortable. Have not used them Yet
