Fitment seams to be a wider toebox on these shoes.
This shoe was delivered fast and in new condition. My feet are on the narrow side and these shoes are on the wider size for the tow box so I had to return them unfortunately.

Looks and fits great, but with a catch
This shoe looks awesome and fits me well. The shoe does have an unusual design in that there isn't really a tongue in the traditional sense. Whereas a normal tongue can move forward, back, and side-to-side somewhat freely, this one is contiguous with the body of the shoe itself. What this means is that putting the shoe on can be more difficult because you can't pull the tongue away from your foot to gain more room for entry. It also creates a situation where the "rim" of the foot entry digs into the front half of my ankle. No other shoe I have ever owned really does this. If the mildly painful digging doesn't stop soon, I'll unfortunately have to return them. Less problematic, the lacing system synches nearer to the toes and ankle with a gap between, causing the body of the shoe to appear wider toward the middle. The laces themselves are very thin, so I could see possibly replacing them in the future. A bummer that they have this strange design that doesn't really "add" anything. Otherwise a nice, lightweight athletic sneaker with aggressive tread.

Don’t write ‘em off too quickly

There’s no traditional tongue that you can push forward to slide your foot in. It’s completely attached to the shoe opening making it a little tricky at first to put on. The opening itself was really stiff at first so it would dig into the area below my ankle; almost painfully. I decided to stick with it hoping they would be better after being broken in. Took a few days of constant wearing but now they are so comfortable. The stiffness is gone and the lack of tongue isn’t even noticed. They slip on and off easily. The wider toe box is also a plus.

Strangely made

The shoes are oddly made - no stretch at all around the opening for the foot to go in. I have an average arch at the top of the foot and there was no way to pull the shoes on. I returned them.

Warning! First impression may not be accurate.

I forgot to read the reviews before buying these. If I had, the lack of a tongue would have dissuaded me from buying these. Indeed, the first time I tried these on, I had a difficult time getting them on. Put them on my bare feet. Once I got them on, they fit like a glove. I bought them 1/2 size larger than usual so I could wear thick socks with them and they were snug on my bare feet! also the side of the shoe came up hard against my ankle bone. Ready to send them back, I thought. Then I decided to try one on with one of my medium cushion, medium compression, over-the-calf socks. Went on much easier. Still fit well. Noticed slight slippage in the heel. Hopefully break-in will correct that. Size seems slightly on the small side.

Happy Feet

These are great shoes. The shoe "tongue" takes a bit of getting use to when you put them on but other than that issue, very comfortable shoe that is well made.

Feet will NOT fit into the shoe!

The tongue is not free and is attached so tightly to the body of the shoe, I could not stretch the opening wide enough to fit my foot into the shoe. Truly, it is ridiculous! I do NOT recommend this product!
