No insulation!? No problem!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Maiden voyage with these was a 30 degree ski day that featured 20-30 mph winds with 50 mph gusts and light snow. A single base layer of merino wool thermals underneath and I was warm and dry all day. Quality seems solid and still look brand new after a couple days of hard skiing. I’m 6’1” with 35” waist and Large was right on. I appreciate the adjustability of the waist Velcro for fine tuning fit and how thin and easily packable they are. Just enough pockets for glove liners, neck gaiter, keys etc. I would highly recommend if you want the flexibility of a uninsulated shell layer so temp range can be dialed with base layers.

Good, lightweight, practical

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these bc needed new ski pants. Price was great (on sale). When they arrived, seemed a little baggy, but once I had all my gear on they felt great. Comfy and light. Actually thought about ordering another pair as a backup or just to have years from now when they wear out. 5’9, 180, Medium fits the waist great. Maybe an inch longer than needed, but with ski boats don’t really notice.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like your shell jacket and pants. It is lightweight and functional. I was a bit uneasy about the hood that I never use. It turned out that it stays behind the helmet and you do not know that it is there even on a very fast run. You must have tested this configuration. The zippers are in the right places to provide venting. The liner gives it a comfortable feel.

Very good ski/snowboard pants.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these pants for my teenaged son, size is right on, he's 5'7" and 140 lbs; we like the velcro adjustments at the waist and the weight and warmth seems good. (haven't used them yet). They aren't made as sturdy as they used to make them, but I'm hoping they hold up for at least a season or til he outgrows them whichever comes first.

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like all Marmot items, it’s excellent quality and fits great. I’m 5’9” 162 lbs and wear a medium. I skied 3 days, two days with temperatures in the 50s and one day in the teens and the pants were great. Not too hot in the warm temps and with one base layer underneath, was plenty warm with the temps in the teens.

Runs a little tight, with little waist flexibility

Super nice design and fabric. The cut can be better. Wish the waist was flexible or more adjustable. Had to return it, as it fit too tight. The fabric was lighter than expected. You will definitely need another layer under. this is more of a shell. The length as it usually is, too long. Had to return it.

Must have ski pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these snowpants for my son and they are terrific. Fit was perfect and they held up extremely well. Part of the time we were skiing in negative temps, and he just had on a base layer underneath and was warm. Purchased the tan color which goes nicely with even ski jacket. Highly recommend.

Needs work, old style was better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gaiters are secured by elastic only. Snow pushes gaiters up making the gaiters basically useless. Clip is needed to secure onto laces or eyelet of boots for hiking/snowshoeing. Will work for sking if tucked into you boots, but then elastic bunches and is painful.

High quality and comfortable fit

I'm impressed with refuge pants the cut/fit is comfortable, warm, not bulky, and flexible for snowboarding. Materials and construction are high quality at reasonable price point and looks like they should last.
