Good for child-size adults!
I am an adult woman and was looking for a lightweight, packable, insulated jacket for an upcoming trip and the XS women's jackets I purchased were too big. I ordered this jacket in a girl's Large and it's a winner. For reference, I am 5'2, 30C and 100 lbs. The sleeves fit just right but I might have short arms (maybe...?) and it's not too baggy, but still offers room for layering (I wouldn't say it does my figure any favors but we're going for function over form here!). Love the color choices too. All in all, this is a good option for kids and adults alike!
Kid-sized adult humans
The XL is great for a child-sized adult! I’m 5’4” and about 120 lbs, but I have narrow hips and shoulders. I wear a 25-26 in Everlane jeans, and usually an XS or 2 in my tops. My arms are short, and my wrists are small. Most adult coats need to be rolled up at the sleeves and I don’t “fill out” the extra chest room. This is perfect! I especially like the rhombus pattern, as opposed to the square prima loft distribution in the adult coat. Plus, the zipper and lining is pink in the grey coat. It still has an interior pocket and is packable! I’m excited that the sale coat cost literally $140 less than the adult coat, but likely fits me better. It does not have the side panels the adult coat has, and is technically like .5 ounces heavier. I don’t think it looks boxy, even with a hoodie underneath, and I’m hoping it holds up to use on the trail.
Great lightweight jacket
I am a petite woman, 5’2 100 lbs and the XL fits perfectly. Got it on sale and very happy with the value. No way would I pay $199 for the women’s version, as it’s not that warm.
Perfect for small adult too
I am 5'2 and 135lb and slightly muscular. Tried boy's XXL before and it was a bit tight around hip. Girl's XXL fits perfectly, both in waist and hip. I wear it right over my tshirt and there is enough room for maybe a light vest. Shoulder movement is slightly limited but overall very satisfied
Navy Blue for 4 yo granddaughter.
I got the size 5 for my 4 yo granddaughter. She was a little disappointed because her flowered Toddler Patagonia then went to her sister and the blue seemed too plain. Once she wore it and discovered how light it was she liked it. She also found that like the adult nano Pull the entire jacket can be put into the inner pocket and hooked onto a backpack. My granddaughter is tall for her age and I hope the 5 should fit her until next year. For NorCal it's a good weight for this spring and fall although she will probably need to layer with the outer coat for the midwinter.
Love it
Nice light jacket- sleeves are long enough to fit a petite adult
Lightweight compact warm
This is a stylish unbelievably thin lightweight warm jacket. Packs so well and remains lovely after being stuffed in pack. Able to layer below and on top of this jacket.
Great jacket!
Daughter loves it and says it keeps her warm and is comfortable
