REI Co-op  Active Pursuits Long-Sleeve Quarter-Zip Pullover - Women's

FIT: I normally wear a XS in REI gear, especially tops, but here the Small fit better on this item. Overall, I found the fit to be odd. I love shirts with thumbholes, and this one has them, BUT it's very narrow at the wrist and puts pressure on the hand when the thumbholes are engaged. The bottom hem is more like a sweatshirt with a band that contains a small zip pocket. The band hits right at the hips. It's not a crop, but not long enough to tuck in. It does not provide any rear coverage. The zip pocket is just big enough for a key and/or credit card. The forearms are narrow, but the bust area and under the upper arms is baggy on me. I am slender with small bust (32A). MATERIAL: The material is soft and breathable. I have the "fresh-water" color which is a vibrant medium to light blue. USE: I hope to use this for pickleball and running in cooler weather. Washing: The shirt looks brand new after washing with a "delicate" cycle and line drying.

I loved this shirt when it first arrived, it's soft, comfortable, breathable, and the green color is really nice. As other reviews have stated, the sleeves are long and wrists are a bit tight, but that doesnt bother me. The shirt might be shorter on me because my big boobs make it sit higher, but I like the shorter length. Here's my gripe...after only 3 wears and 1 wash, it's coming apart at the seams (in the wrist area). Very disappointed because I normally never spend this much on one article of clothing...I figured it would be good quality and last me a while, unfortunately I was wrong. This is my first REI brand purchase and it might be the last because of this poor first impression.

This quarter zip is a super breathable, ultra lightweight layer. This is more appropriate for warmer temps, I wouldn't call this a layering piece to add warmth, but fully zipped is really comfortable. I found myself reaching for this on morning/evening dog walks and and to throw over my workout tops coming and going from the gym for coverage, but would also be a good option for a run/hike. I like a bit of an oversized fit, so I went with the large and I felt it was true to size, but a slim-fitting product. Looked great paired with leggings or joggers. I'm about 5'6 and it ended up being about hip length. The freshwater color is a really nice sky blue. Was also happy to find a small pocket that could fit a car key or credit card, but not a cellphone.

This top was great for an early morning summer hike/walk in the park since the fabric is light and breathable. I like the style with dolman sleeves and zipper pocket for credit cards/keys sewn into bottom band seam which looks clean and sleek. I really like the sleeve thumb loops since there isn't a gaping hole when not in use. The zipper is nice with soft chin cover though I would prefer longer zipper to allow more ventilation. The color Freshwater is pretty robin egg blue.

This is a comfortable, soft shirt with good sun protection. It has a nice collar and thumb holes. The thumb holes are comfortable and do not pinch. The collar offers full coverage from the sun. This is also a very versatile shirt that can be worn for any activity such as biking, walking, running, and hiking. It provides good ventilation and stays cool for summer activities. The small pocket is great to keep a key.

I really like the relaxed style fit and versatility of this lightweight pullover. The fabric is soft and the the vibrant blue color is a plus. I have long arms and the sleeve length is just right. I appreciate the thumb holes on the sleeves for early morning runs and dog walks. I've also used this pullover with yoga and there is enough give in the fabric that when you raise your arms overhead-the shirt does not ride up, and the more fit waist also keeps the shirt in place when inverted in down-dog poses and such. I'm surprised how much warmth it provides, and is easy to wrap around the waist when warmed up on runs and hikes. It also rolls up small so can easily pack as a layer in backpack without taking up too much room. There is a small zip pocket for a key/credit card. It would not hold a phone-nor would I want to put a phone in my shirt-would be too heavy and pull on the fabric. I usually wear size 6/small, however the medium allows a comfortable fit over tees and tanks. This really has become a go to layer!

I like the blue color and the over fit around the body. But like the other review mentioned, the cuff is so tight especially if you wear it over your hand (use the thumb hole). Even if you wear if on the wrist (not using the thumb hole), it is still tight. Overall I like this shirt enough to keep it, but because of the strange tight design for the cuff, I would not buy again.

This is a great lightweight quarter zip top. I use it to bike around the city doing errands; it's perfect for an early morning chill. Also, a favorite grab-and-go when hiking. It's not snow season yet, but I think it'll be a nice layer when boarding! The fabric is soft, breathable, and very comfortable. Though,the color options could be more interesting.

Smooth material, nice zipper, and long sleeves. Fits great and breathes well. True to size. I loved the shirt so bought two different colors of this. My favorite thing about this shirt is that is NOT LONG like many shirts today for hiking. I like the shorter length of this and the ribbing around the bottom. Some folks complained about that but I really like it. Looking forward to when they come out with MORE CHOICES of colors. I bought the Blue and the Green.

It is a nice fabic. Odd shape. Tight at the wrist. Not flattering if you have large breasts. I returned it.
