Phone doesn't fit...
Sadly, my phone didn't fit in either pocket and there was no way to secure it. I have a larger phone, a Samsung Ultra. I love the idea of this little bag for quick hikes but wish the pockets were just an inch or two bigger. Returning with a sad face because I thought it would be perfect for my need.

Why, North Face?

It’s ridiculous that Northface didn’t give the pocket in this water carrier a quarter of an inch more so that a standard size iPhone could fit in and close the zipper. There’s no reason why they didn’t plan for people to use it as a phone carrier as well as a water bottle carrier. Very dissatisfied that I can’t use this for the two things that I carry most often.

Finally!

I’ve been waiting for a bottle carrier like this for ages. I take a Nalgene 32WM everywhere, and they’re cumbersome at best. This bottle holder is perfect for hikes, dog walks, errands, and I can loop the strap over my passenger seat headrest since my Nalgene doesn’t fit in my cup holders. Keeps my water bottle from rolling around the truck and I love that it can hold an energy bar, some spare cash, and a key. The pocket also fits my Tom Bihn wallet perfectly for longer outings.

Great if you're traveling light

I like going for long walks and wear a hip bag across my chest. I use a karabiner to hang the bottle from one of the straps. It's not ideal but you work with what you have. This looked like an interesting upgrade. I was glad to see I could fit a 36oz yeti water bottle in this. The strap is a little rough. It would be nice if there was a padded part so it didn't scratch the side of your neck. The pocket is pretty small. If your water bottle is smaller you might be able to fit your phone into it. I have a large water bottle and a big phone (iPhone 11 Pro Max) so it did not fit. I used the stretchy outer pocket to hold my earbuds case and the zipper pocket for house keys. The best thing about this is it allowed me to easily drink water without having to stop. I could swing it around and then place it on my side when I'm done. The downside is that with my hip bag I can carry a lot more. This pouch is good for long walks where you don't need much or if you have a backpack with no good spot for a water bottle.

perfect bottle sleeve

i’m so glad rei had this! i’ve been needing a sleeve with a strap for my nalgene for months and couldn’t find anything online that was even close to what i was wanting, not happened to finally find this and it’s PERFECT. it fits the regular size nalgene perfectly and doesn’t feel like it’s going to fall off or anything. the strap adjusts really large so it doesn’t feel too tight while going on longer hikes and the extra pockets fit my important cards and my phone without any struggle! if you’re looking for something like this, i recommend this 10000%

Every day favorite

This fits my nalgene PERFECTLY. I use this bag every single day. My work bag is less bulky now that I don’t throw my water bottle in there, and I can still be hands free as my water bottle is conveniently on my side. I love the chain detail on the side- I clip my carabiner with my keys to it and never have to dig through my bag for them. The pocket on this bag is big enough for a small wallet and chapstick. I can’t recommend this enough. If you are on the fence- just buy it! You won’t regret it.

Never Thirsty

I absolutely love the Borealis Water Bottle Holder. I've been waiting a long time for something simple to carry my basics: Nalgene, ID & credit card, keys, and phone. I'd give it 5 stars, but I think it can be improved with the addition of a second zipper so you can open from both sides...and maybe if the zippered compartment was 1/2" thicker to provide a little extra room for fatter snacks. All in all, I love being able to carry my water bottle easily.

Love It!

I was looking for something that could hold my water bottle for shorter hikes and walks around town. This is perfect. Others that I have tried choked me because the straps didn’t stay in place. The straps stayed in place and I love that it adjusts to hold different size bottles. It held my 40oz Thermoflask perfectly and I still could fit my phone in the stretchy front pocket.

Handy, helpful, and cute!

Best recent purchase I’ve made in a while! I love how this allows me to carry my water bottle (and other small essentials) hands-free without having to wear a backpack. Perfect for walks around the neighborhood, running to the store, or going out for a meal. As someone who deeply ascribes to the concept of an “emotional support water bottle,” this bag is upping my hydration game.
