Excellent hot weather hoodie
6'1 190. Size L. Fit is great, -- it is not a tight athletic skin hugging shirt around the chest. I wore this hoodie for 4 days straight in Cabo. 90+ degrees and humid as heck. Boat rides to scuba, wore for hours daily in a pool. Extremely comfortable, lightweight and breathable. Excellent in hot weather. Dries very fast. With a baseball cap under the hood, kind of creates a big open air catch that really circulates air on the inside of the shirt.

Thin and amazingly soft. Works well for spf protection on sunny days or as a thin hoodie at the gym
Cool Lounging Piece
Fell in love with these for every day casual lounging. They’re great to keep the sun off your arms if you drive a lot. The material cools quickly. I’m all about keeping my arms and face being protected from the sun. This is a great addition to my collection of SPF gear.
Great for Warmth and Sun Protection
Super lightweight sun protection was what I was looking for. I can wear this as an under garment for layering or as a outer shell in the warmest of weather for sun protection. Great for running, climbing, even paddle boarding. Saw my dermatologist climbing Grandeur Peak in SLC with this on and figured he must know what he's doing. Happy I found it at REI.
Perfect for wicking sweat and avoiding sunburn!
Vuori became one of my trusted brands for their Kore shorts that I brought along to Colombia a few years ago. Did not research before I bought this hoodie for a recent trip to Aruba. Could not be more pleased with this purchase. Lightweight, dries quickly, and more importantly helps keep you from sunburn! Will be recommending Vuori to family and friends.
Vouri Hoodie with zipper
So happy to have found this item. I’m surprised that more manufacturers don’t make a hoodie with a half zipper. This is only the second one that I have found. Fit is good and it’s going to be great for fall. Only negative is that I thought the price was a bit high.
Great Sun Hoodie
I'm a big fan of Vuori clothing. This shirt has a nice combination of thin, soft, stretchy fabric with both a hood and a partial zip - a really nice combo when you want sun protection and the opportunity vent some extra heat when the weather gets warm. I'm not sure why this is a "water" hoodie; it seems perfectly suited for other activities as well. The shirt has a hood adjustment feature and a zippered pocket near the hem large enough to hold your keys or a card, maybe a gel or two. The fit is pretty great. I'm 6'1" and 150 lbs. I wear a small in most Vuori shirts. This fits a little snug in the arms, but not tight around the chest. It won't flap about in the wind like other loose-fitting clothing, but it's not a tight fit either. I only have two minor complaints. The shirt is pretty short, and it exposes my belly if I raise my arms above my head. I'm also not a fan of the writing on the right sleeve. Neither are a real problem for me, but if hem was a little longer, I'd seriously consider this for cycling in cool weather.
Great feature, runs small
I’m 6 ft 190 and a large was short, it’s a bit of a strange cut but I liked the weight and features so I ordered a XL and gave the Large to my kid.
elastic deteriorated only on year after purchase
Only after one year of use the hoodie is coming apart around the zipper. Total manufacture defect.
