No zipper or belt loops

The cut of the pants is good. And the look great. However, i can only give them two stars because the only securing feature around the waist is a single button with no zipper or even belt loops. If that button comes undone you could be in for some awkwardness. I returned my pair due to the above issue.

Non-working button

The pant worked well for 2 months of use (2 days per week). Now the button just opens. If I sit, it opens… if you need to pick up something from the floor: opens! I use it for my bike commute but now it’s annoying. I’ll find a way to fix it, but Fox should do better.

Great Bike Pants - Need better pockets!

Super comfortable pants for MTB and road biking. I was unsure as to sizing, I am normally between size 10 and 12. I ordered L and XL because the store didn’t have them to try. They seem true to sizing, although by the chart, the waist would have been too small for me. In fact, I have room to expand in the waist, while having a good fit through butt and thighs, with enough room for a thermal layer. The gussetted crotch does have a sewn flat seam right where a woman doesn’t normally want a seam, however, it was still comfortable with a 3 hour commando ride :) My one big beef is that while the product specs make a big to-do about the pockets, they are essentially dysfunctional. They are quite small, and not big enough for even my small iPhone 7. The pockets are netting, which cuts down on bulk, but make them not good to even carry a key. To carry spare gloves, I need to put one glove in each pocket. Carrying even a cliff bar puts bulk right in the front crease of the leg and hip, so really not a good pocket design! All this said, I put the pants on to try size at home and they are so comfortable, I wore them around the house and yard for the rest of the day, biked for a few hours, and still felt comfortable. So, overall a good rating, BUT, I’m looking for a functional pocket I can attach to the outside of the thigh.

Great Fit! Useless pockets and snap closure!

I REALLY wanted to like these pants I got for MTB. The Large fits my muscular 10/12 with 28.5” inseam well, and are super comfortable. They fit like they are gussetted, but are not. The crotch seams are sewn flat and even work well for my normal commando riding habit. The fabric is tough and somewhat weather resistant. The two front pockets, though, are so small as to be almost useless. Could maybe get a spare glove in each. But, too small for anything useful like my smallish iPhone 7, or even a Cliff bar. They are net, so not a good option for carrying even a key. Anything in them is going to ride right in that crease between upper thigh and lowest abdomen. I liked the fit so well, though, that I was willing to overlook that and find or make a zip pocket to sew onto the outer thigh. The waist closure is zipless open fly with a snap. (Love zipless). An offset, internal adjustable web waistband runs from front of hip, around the back to the other hip without crossing the abdomen and is comfortable and functional. The pants ride comfortably with the waist just below my navel, and a slight pull on the web band closes a slight gap at the back. BUT, the pants are NOT useable with this CR^P SNAP! I am normal proportions, muscly with a normal/average stomach. Take a deep breath, POP! Bend to sit down, POP! Stand on the pedals to pressure up a steep piece of trail, POP! It’s NEVER a convenient moment to resnap while active, and legs going with snap open means the pants just get dragged down. I might try to exchange them, but I don’t think a single snap closure for an active pant is a good design feature. And, I don’t have confidence that this isn’t just a poor snap that Fox used in all of these pants. For $100 plus, I need better.
