New favorite! Secure, easy, plenty of storage.
Just finished using this as my main daily bag on a month-long trip through Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Singapore. It felt safe, had plenty of room and easy access for all the things I needed (paperwork, passport, pen, pad, hand sanitizer, phone, wallet, universal adapter, cables, battery pack, sunglasses in case, even at one point a small travel umbrella). The clasp mechanism for the larger section is lockable with a small lock, but you don't need it because its also complicated enough that no-one is going to unzip without you noticing. (Including you, until you get used to it.) This is my new favorite and will be with me on all my travels from now on.
Perfect cross body bag for travel.
I wanted a cross body bag that had a lot of room for the items that I carry and was airport safe. This is the perfect bag. I can fasten my seatbelt and leave it on. It fits comfortably on my body and I can get several items in it... wallet, cell phone, hand sanitizer, small makeup items. It has several zippered pockets to keep keys and other items secured. The zipper opens from the top so items do not accidentially fall out. I am very happy with the purchase.
Great for men too
I’m a guy and bought this for me. Come on REI! Knock off the sexist classifications! This is perfectly fine cross body bag for a man — or a woman. It meets all of my requirements for travel and around town use. Solidly built and perfect size, not too big, not too small. Holds my water bottle, wallets and dude wipes with room for much more. Regardless of your gender or orientation, world traveler or just an around the town romper, you will be happy to have this as your companion.
Great traveling purse.
Great for traveling. This size was easy to carry around and it fit basic items; passport, small wallet, sunscreen, chapstick, and a few other items. The internal padded pouch worked well for my cell phone. The size makes it easy to stuff it into a carryon backpack or luggage for consolidation. It would be 5-stars but it's a bit small and I couldn't fit a case for sunglasses which made it tough when being out all day and into the evening.
Awesome Bag!!
This is just the right size, and has all the bells and whistles!! A lot of great safety features, like a locking mechanism at the top, and mesh wiring throughout! A great way to carry your passport, and other essentials!
Safe, roomy, cumbersome
It has lots of zippered pockets and safety features, with lots of room for my phone, wallet and extras. Shoulder-strap lock and zipper-pull lock required a YouTube tutorial and some practice to master. Hardware clinks when I walk. Bag is not contoured to hug my body, so it flops a little. Love the black color with no jarring logo and durable construction. I’m sure it will keep my stuff secure for decades.

I love this bag! It’s small but spacious-fits my passport plus much much more and keeps my credit cards safe. I really like how the top locks the zipper in place-easy to lock and unlock.
