A plastic knife that can cut steak, who knew!

Received free product

I received these products for free from the REI Trailblazers sampling program in exchange for my honest review. Spent the week using these utensils on for my work lunches finding they did great with salads and lighter meals. This weekend I took them backpacking and, to my surprise, the knife did a solid job cutting steak! Normally I pull out my EDC for campfire fare but this knife held up and it was nice to have a full sized fork on trail. Lightweight to add to my pack and came with a nice little pouch to keep together. Overall, I think this is a nice addition to your backpack, or lunch bag, for a lightweight yet sturdy option.

Solid Utensil Set

Received free product

I've really enjoyed this UCO Eco Camp utensil set. It is solidly built set that doesn't feel like it will break or bend when used with extra pressure on harder foods. I especially appreciate the knife's sharp seated edge that can cut thought lots of tough foods with no issues. I also appreciate that the spoon is deep enough to get a good spoonful of soup, cereal or whatever you're scooping up. Lastly the container to hold the utensils is great with its flex opening and closing so no strings are required (which can often get tied in knots). As mentioned this is a solid utensil set that I will will get lot of use camping and hiking.

Durable, long, cool snap bag :)

Received free product

First off: solid set of utensils. No real complaints except a false sense of flimsiness corrected by their inherent design and actual durability. These utensils are honestly pretty comfy in the hand, as streamlined as they can be, and worth the buy. The utensils will reach into your MRE. I repeat, the spoon, the fork, and the knife are perfect for backpacking meals. Case closed, easy buy, easy justification of consideration. I actually tried to break these utensils to see if they could tolerate “hard use”. Spoiler: they do. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

Lightweight, functional utensils

Received free product

For work, I do a lot of field work and a moderate amount of traveling. I often find the need for a set of utensils for lunch and dinner I'm the field. This set comes with everything you need in terms of utensils. I have kept these utensils in my travel bag and used them out in remote areas and in hotel rooms. These utensils are easy to clean, have a great little storage bag that is easy to clip to my backpack, and have held up to the use and abuse of being tossed around in my field bag. Durability has been important for me considering I have had multiple utensils sets break in my bag from being packed up tight with the rest of my gear. These have held up great so far and are really convenient. I like to leave them outside their bag on my backpack when drying them after giving a quick wash. The loops at the base of the handle are great for attaching to a clip and you can choose to only bring one utensils if you are trying to save weight and don't want to bring all three. Overall they are very light, durable, convenient, and I anticipate getting a lot more use out of them.

Great all around utensil set

Received free product

This is a great all purpose set of utensils. I took it all over the place - from chaperoning my kid’s school camping trip to a work trip where I wanted to minimize my use of single-use plastic. The case is easy to use with a magnetic closure. It’s skinny, so fit in a variety of bags and purses. The utensils themselves are very lightweight recycled plastic. I was concerned at first that plastic silverware can be less durable than the metal set I usually use when camping, but they held up well. They are fairly big - if you are looking for a set that could be used both for eating and potentially serving/cooking, this could function for both. If oversized silverware bugs you, maybe try something else.

Camping utensils

Received free product

UCO ECO camp utensils are lightweight and come in a convenient pouch. I had the opportunity to use them on a short weekend getaway. I am always worried that plastic utensils will not hold up and be strong enough. I was pleasantly surprised that the knife and fork did well at cutting meat. The length is good too, especially for reaching in freeze dried food bags.

Durable. Reliable. Great product.

Received free product

Great utensils. Durable. Reusable. Lightweight and solid carrying case. I took these to a long weekend in the woods and have used them everyday at work. The bag keeps them free of debris and damage. Easy to pack, clean, and reuse. I’ve used them everyday since receiving from REI and really enjoy them. Way better than cheap disposable plastic ones and more convenient then packing metal ones from home.

Light and sturyd

Received free product

Super light and sturdy camp utensil set. Replaced my spork with this three piece and love having both a fork and spoon. Case is also great quality with a hinge at the ends so no worries about it breaking. Excited for a summer of camping with these handy utensils.

Sturdy and full size

Received free product

I like the utensil set’s sturdiness and size for eating and to use for food prep. The spoon is a nice size for stirring and eating. The knife is sharp enough to cut. The long handles are a bit challenging to fit into an ultra-lite kitchen kit for backpacking.
