Good for travel
Seems this shoe will be comfortable enough as an all purpose waterproof travel shoe and for groomed trail walks. Looks good. Round toe helps with toe box space though I don’t think this shoe will work if you have wide feet. Seems to run slightly long. I didn’t give 5 stars because I don’t think you could do any real hiking in it.
Cushion with good structure and support
Great footbed cushioning with a firm enough outsole that provides good energy return when walking. Good natural feel from heel to toe while walking. Only small complaint I have is that the tongue is right up against the front of my ankle and could be softer, but a low ankle sock reduces any possible rubbing on my skin. I was undecided about these but glad I kept them. I’ve been breaking them in and finding them comfortable with good support. Will be using them on a trip with some casual hiking, lots of walking in rainy days in town (rain beaded up on surface when I wore them in the rain at home), and wanted something that looks good for both purposes but with more support than a running shoe.
Comfortable for walking when it is dry outside.
These are comfortable however my feet got wet just from walking in wet grass, so they are not very water resistant. Better for dry weather.
Great buy!
Great fit and comfortable shoes for my narrow feet. Can't wait to wear them when the weather gets cooler and rainy.
Short-lived tread
The treads wore out in about 16 months - completely flat, smooth like ice, under the heel! And yes they are waterproof but oh so hot on the feet.
Not Great
The heel of this shoe is very stiff and caused a blister within seconds!
