Very durable, daughter would take off and drag under fallen trees with her. Very comfortable and perfect fit. No complaints and fits so much for day adventures.
Started with the Osprey moki 1.5l hydration pack when my son was 5. Upgraded to this one at 6 years old because he wanted to pack some snacks and things for adventures. Still lightweight. Good fit and nice bladder integration. Just used on my son’s first 4 mile hike / canyon scramble. Worked great. Seems durable.
The pack itself is great. It fits my 8 yr old well, is comfortable, and essentially serves it's purpose. However, the bladder absolutely will not seal. I gave it the benefit of the doubt thinking I didn't entirely close it, even laying it on it's side and water working it's way out. After thorough checking it's simply the seal. I cannot get it to seal properly and it leaks from the top, soaking the pack and her back. I just bought a different brand bladder to make it work. I'll not use that style bladder again.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect for our 6 year old. The magnetic straw feature is great, enough padding in shoulder straps and the egg crate style/mesh backing keeps her cool. Perfect for young adventurers wanting a little independence with carrying their own backpack.
