Great slip on shoe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for something nice to wear while going to the market or around the house that had a bit of protection for the toes and these bad boys delivered. They are very nice shoe very stylish and very practical. Slip on and go. They run a bit small but it might just be that they are new and the elastic has to stretch a bit. Overall it’s a great shoe and I hope to see a new iteration of this style soon.

I miss the old days…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used to be you could buy a pair of Keens based on your “usual” size and that is no longer possible. They seem to have changed the lasts they use for this sandal and it’s now much smaller around on the instep. Even with the elastic fully extended, my foot wouldn’t go far enough into the shoe to stay on. My little toe got stuck in the opening on the side because of this and my heel was resting on the edge of the shoe! Same sandal in the same size ordered a year ago had a completely different fit. Very frustrated because this style isn’t carried in any of the stores near me so I always have to ship and return. Thankfully they make that easy.

Worst Sandals Imaginable

These are the worst sandals I have ever purchased. They do not stay on your feet at all, slipping off your feet within two steps. They are not not comfortable at all and hurt your feet when you have to secure them as tightly as possible simply to have your heel slide out within seconds. Buy any other sandal type or brand.

My husband's favorite new beach shoe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband recently got his first pair of Keen's for a music festival where it was bound to be wet and muddy. He ended up loving them, but I kept seeing him step into them with the heel down (like he does with his other favorite shoes that start with an O) but I knew they weren't meant to do that, so I decided to surprise him with these. HE LOVES THEM! We live on the coast, and he takes the dog to the beach daily. He says these are so comfortable yet easy to slip in and out of. He says they're his new favorite beach shoe, and I don't have to worry about him ruining the others my pushing the back of the heel down. Thanks, Keen!

Sizing a Little Smaller than the Old Model

Big fan of the Keen slip on model. When it was discontinued I was really bummed, I had worn out my third pair of them and was ready to order a fourth. No one makes this sandal better than Keen. Checked back a few months later and the slip on was back and slightly changed to the design similar to the heel strap model which is great too, I have two pairs of those. I ordered the new model and am happy except there is a small difference in sizing. The new model runs a little smaller than the old model so I returned the size 9 and ordered a size 9.5. We'll see when it arrives.

A perfect slide

Bought these to replace my heel strap Newports in Mexico. I am in and out of sandals so much the heel strap became a real hassle and irritant when I was too lazy to pull it up. These slides felt great the first time I slipped them on. The soles provide cushioning and grip on the paved, unpaved and dirt roads in out town. The toe box protects against all the uneven sidewalks and "tourist traps" and they dry quickly when a wave catches me by surprise. I had intended to leave them at our place in Mexico but like them so much I wore them home. Will buy another pair to take down south when the PNW goes dark and damp.

Not bad but not the same as the original sandal

I bought these sandals because I loved them when they came out many years ago and missed having them after my last pair wore out. I was excited to see the design was back. Unfortunately the footbed is a bit different. It is not as cupped as it was before. More flat. Making the sandal harder to keep on your feet when walking. The cupped bed is needed since there is no heal strap or toe thong to keep the sandal in place. They added a toggle strap to help with this but mine slips open and actually squeezes my foot out of the sandal when tight. Still a good sandal but I will not be walking as far and as fast as I did with the original footbed design. It will be relegated to more of a casual lounge sandal. Probably will not buy another pair unless the design is changed back.

Half size to small. Gave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Half size to small. Gave them to my brother I law who wears a 9.5 and they fit him. Not the same fit as my beloved 10 Sandler in the attached pic

Easy to Slip On

I’m trying hard to love these sandals, but I’m not quite there yet. They seem to be a bit small, but I think it’s because I can never get my feet all the way in them. I wear a size 9 in the regular Keen Newports, and a size 9.5 is too big. So I ordered a size 9 in these. My heels always seem to riding on the top of the end of foot bed. It’s really noticeable walking uphill. Downhill is fine. The quality and workmanship is typical Keen— great! And I do appreciate the ability to get them on and off quickly. I’d like to see a couple more color choices.

PATIENCE!!!

I had an ancient pair of these (had an "optional" heel strap) clearly no longer supportive so was thrilled when these finally came out. . . . they are my #1 house shoe. . . do not wear them outside (live in the rainy muddy PNW) but could jump in my car with them to go to the PO. . . . . (we are so rural do not have mail delivery). . . . . am constantly slipping on and off because need to elevate legs. . . love them. . . . . . cannot even remember my first pair of Keen shoes but they are my shoe wardrobe. . . . . I am 78 years old!!!!
