Great Minimalist Wallet
I have been using this vertical card holder for the past two weeks and have really been enjoying it. In reading the other reviews people commented on this being too small. I disagree. The card holder says to have 2-8 cards in the wallet and I’ve got 5 and it works perfectly. The first day I used the wallet the cards were a little tight but they have since worn in the leather enough that I can get my cards in and out easily while also not being too loose that they fall out. I honestly sometimes I forget I even have my wallet on me because it is so slim and compact! A perfect front pocket wallet with a rad design.
Keeping it simple and compact!
While I have a larger wallet that I use most of the time (with space for change, gift cards, credit cards, etc.), there are times when I want to downsize and just have a few key cards with me. This wallet is perfect for holding my license and 2-3 cards, and is very lightweight. The description says it can hold 2-8 cards/cash, but I think you would have to slowly add more, as the leather is pretty stiff when the wallet is brand new. I actually prefer this because I know that my cards will not fall out- phew! They fit snuggly in the slot. The entire wallet is smaller than the size of my hand and fits easily into my pockets. It's been great to have this when I don't want to bring a whole purse or bag with me to a concert or event!
Too small for everyday use
I received this wallet about two weeks ago. This wallet claims to be able to hold 2-8 cards or cash but I found it to be extremely small/tight. I put two cards in there and it was hard to remove them. However, the material is real leather so maybe if I continue to use it, the leather will soften and the card slit will expand? Also, the wallet itself is tiny. I'm a pretty petite lady and the size of the wallet feels so small that I fear I'd misplace it easily. Overall, I'd not use this as my everyday wallet. I can see the value in using it if you're traveling minimally or using it as a theme park ticket holder (attached to a lanyard).
Snazzy Little Wallet
This wallet is attractive, compact, and perfect for throwing a credit card and ID in my gym bag or a pocket when I don't want to carry my whole person. It is well made of leather. The one side is a sturdy elastic and easily holds 3-4 cards. The back pocket is leather and is easily accessible. There is also a middle pocket, but it is hard to pull the cards out of it so I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. There is a ring for keys too. It has already got a lot of use and will continue to do so for a long time.
Loved most of it!
The Thread Wallet Vertical Wallet is a pretty handy item. I really enjoyed the elastic, cloth, outer pocket (the plaid portion in my photo) which was attached to more sturdy and stiff, leather pockets. There’s enough space to carry a couple cards in each of the pockets and it is RFID, which is a feature I was looking for. There’s also a small keyring that’s super useful for keeping track of keys, in addition to your wallet. As another reviewer mentioned, the wallet is pretty stiff until you’ve used it for a little while. So cards stay in…but they can be challenging to take out. The quality of this item seems top notch (other than the stiffness and needing to keep it dry because it’s genuine leather). This mini wallet is perfect for a night out!
Weak elastic attachment
Bought this to replace a wallet that was recently stolen, as I figured it would be best to just carry card and i.d. with my keys. Generally great— secured cards well, compact size, etc. However, less than a week later, the elastic holding the ring that attached to my keychain broke. Fortunately, I was at home when it happened. Last thing I need is to lose another set of bank cards, work i.d., and driver’s license. Too bad the attachment was so weak, versus a ring embedded in the leather.
Its great if you're ready to commit to minimalist
I am downsizing from another minimalist wallet with space for double the card carrying capacity as this one. Definitely would be nice to have space for another card or two but honestly I'm glad it's making me consider what I carry around on a daily basis. Hopefully it can stand up to the abuse that wallet's will endure
Not enough room for too many cars
So many cards these days! Grocery cards, ID, credit and debit, health insurance, library card, bus pass, etc...and the minute I leave one out, I find I need it. Since the description states "hold 2-8 cards and some cash" I had hoped this would hold all but alas it will not. The stretchy part will hold 4 at the most. The other 2 sections are so tight they barely hold one, and it's hard to pull them out. Not going to work for me. If all you need is your ID and two or three cards it's nice, but that's about it.
Works ok for minimalism when traveling
I bought this for travel, to hold the essentials, and it did, barely. ID and 2 credit cards fit snugly in the middle compartment, but I could not have put anything else in there. The side pockets worked ok for some paper currency (and kept my US $ separate from my Euros) but didn't hold a lot either and were sometimes difficult to get things in and out of. I ended up buying a coin purse because I forgot how much more they use coins than paper in Europe, but it did fit in that coin purse and in the future I can see myself using both together, this wallet for cards only and the coin purse for all the money, when I travel and don't need to take all the things I carry in my regular large wallet.
Perfect minimalist wallet
