Hard to Get On 12th
Good looking shoe but it's extremely hard to get on. It is not constructed properly. It doesn't matter how much you open the laces it's still extremely hard to slide your foot in. I have a normal foot, average width and regular instep. I am an Allbirds fan, I have 7 pairs. These are going back to the store.
Canvas Pacer Mids
I love my AllBirds, I swear by them, especially in the winter. The wool waterproof shoes, they’re the best! So I thought I’d give the pacer mids a shot. They’re comfortable and breathable, but I cannot for the life of me get them on without completely undoing all the laces. There’s no tab on the back heel to assist with sliding your feet in. So in an effort to keep them, being that they’re so comfortable, I bought a shoehorn. That’s been helpful, but I’m in my 30’s and physically able, I can’t imagine this shoe is very accessible for anyone else.
Nice shoes, bad ankle design
I was really excited about my first pair of Allbirds, because so many people rave about them. I love mid-tops and I needed to replace an old pair, so it seemed like the perfect fit. I like the toe box on these shoes, and overall my foot is comfortable in them, the issue is how hard they are on the back of my ankles. I ended up needing to run into a store to buy band aids. The other issue is that there is no back loop to help you get the shoes on--which is important this shoes that are higher in the back. I would no recommend these.
Awesome shoe
I’m a teacher whose on my feet all day. I have flat feet so most shoes cause me a lot of back pain. But this shoe is the perfect solution - the insole is so comfortable, but it still has enough arch support. I get compliments on these a lot and no pain! My only suggestion would be to add a tab to the back because sometimes they’re a little tricky to get since they’re a high top. But overall - highly recommend! I’m gonna get them in another color
No returns on sale items, uncomfortable, no support
Bought these to treat myself and hoping they were as great as I have heard. They are too small even though I bought my size, and I cannot return or exchange due to being on sale and can't wear them. They are very painful, I tried wearing to stretch out but just so uncomfortable for me. They are made of material that seems like it would be hard to keep clean, no real support for foot. It seems the company would allow exchanges on all purchases especially for online purchases. My daughter loves these shoes so, I am sure if I was able to return then and get the right fit that I would love them too. Nice that the company is so environmentally aware. Working for an environmental company myself I had hoped to recommend these to my staff, but unable to do that with my experience. I have two pair of Allbirds and cannot wear either pair or return.
Not recommended
I have a pair that I love, I bought them a year ago, they are soft, comfortable, and I decided to buy this pair, but the truth is, they are hard, this style hurts my feet, which are very high in the ankles. I cannot return them because it said final purchase, but I do not completely recommend them. buy them this style, especially when it says final purchase because if you don't like them you can't return them.
Too Narrow, Too Small
I'm a solid 11 medium (regular) width shoe size. I have Brooks, Hoka, Bzees, and various other brands, all in size 11 med width. After ordering three (3) different styles from Allbirds, I cannot wear a single pair because they are way to short in the footbed (closer to a size 10) and far too narrow to be a medium width. I honestly don't know who these shoes are made for, but certainly not for me.
Cute sneaker
This is a cute sneaker and the same great quality that I love from Allbirds. I read other reviews and some are right about it being difficult to get your foot in the shoe. The canvas is super stiff, so it was tricky to slip over my heel. I really had to work at the laces to get it to go on. Otherwise, I wore it with a higher sock because I read it could rub the back of your Achilles.
My very first pair of
My very first pair of Allbirds and love how comfy and supportive they are! Wore it, once, from morning till evening and my feet were not tired. These do take a little time to get your feet in, given there are no loops on the heel, so using a shoe horn might be helpful. Typically, I am a true 5.5, but since this pair was only in whole sizes, ordering a half-size up was fine.
Stylish and Versatile
I was looking for a pair of new white/cream high tops that had enough support to sustain casual wear and city walking. I love these shoes!! So cute and modern, easy to dress up and down, very comfy. My only peeve is that I find them *extremely* difficult to take on and off, even when I’ve loosened the laces. Would still buy again, but I hope they can fix that in the future.
