Love this jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that this jacket is a bit longer, has a high collar neck and a hood option. I'm usually a medium because of my bust and shoulders but I'm happy to fit a small in this jacket because it's already puffy. The small fits perfect it's all just a little tight under the arms. I also love the comfortable wrist sleeve detail. All in all this jacket is cozy warm and fits well.

Runs SMALL- excellent jacket otherwise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this jacket (I have a previous year's version) but when attempting to buy a new one, the sizing has changed so much it doesnt fit anymore. I am 5'5", athletic build with broad shoulders. I am usually a medium, but the medium in this jacket was SO tight on my shoulders and hips I had to go up to a large. The large was SO long it was almost a parka length- covering my butt entirely, and the sleeves were excessively long. Sad the sizing has changed so much, because the previous version of this jacket has been a tried and true staple for all my backcountry and front country adventures alike.

Can see the black down through the material

I bought the red color Summit Series Breithorn jacket. It fits me well on the body and the arm length is perfect. The hoodie and the neck are a little oversized, but that is ok. The reason I gave 2 star rating is because the black down and feather show through the red material. The jacket looks dirty because of that. To me it is a quality control failure. How can they put jacket like that on the market? I wonder why don't they use white goose down instead. If you buy a black color one, it will probably be ok.

Great puffy overall for medium cold conditions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I plan to use for climbing and skiing. I am 5'7" and 135 lbs, and a medium fits well with room for layers underneath. Color is bright salmon (not orange or red as it appears on the website). Fit is slightly long in the torso. Elastic around cuffs is comfortable and should help prevent wear around the edges. Overall I'd say this is a great puffy for medium cold activities. The fit allows for lots of movement, and the jacket feels warm without being too bulky. Biggest downside is the cost relative to other brands, though I know from past purchases, my North Face jackets have held up well.

Must have jacket!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used this jacket during my trip to St. Paul, Alaska with gusts up to 45 mph. This jacket did not disappoint as it kept me warm and blocked out the wind! Just wish it had a drawstring hem at the bottom for even more warmth and comfort.

Letters fell off

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't washed my jacket yet and all my letters fell off and unusual amount of feathers keep coming out. Keeping it because it was a gift.

Warm, Soft, Lightweight, and Oh The Sleeves!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket fits perfectly!!! The sleeves aren't too short and have a fantastic thick band of elastic at the wrists - I wish every jacket had this! It's very warm but lightweight and soft. I've read other reviews that the hips may not work for everyone as they are narrow, and I do have narrow hips but I wouldn't want it any wider at the hips. Interior pockets. Only one cinch cord at the hips. My *only* complaint is that the logo is bright white and stands out in a ridiculous way. I feel like a walking ad for TNF. I really, really wish the logo was in a more subtle color. It would be nice if it came in more nature-based colors: rusty red, moss or sage green, muted lupine, stormy grey/blue...just ideas. I can't wait to take this jacket backpacking!
