Not the same quality as the adult shoe

Hoka claims the kids shoes are of the same quality as the adult version, only smaller. I found this to be completely false. I have worn 9 different models over the last 7 years. Clifton has been my favorite. I was excited to try the kids version since a youth 5 fits a women's 7. I ordered the cyclamen/sweet lilac since it was on clearance. Once it arrived and I put it on, I could tell it was NOT the same. The kids is not as cushioned. The kids version is actually very FLIMSY and uncomfortable. I can wear my women's Clifton's all day with zero issues. These didn't make it 2 hours. I tried to jog a little and they were not even a little bit supportive. Then bend in a strange spot and it just hurt. I don't return shoes, but I am strongly considering bringing these back since they really are that bad. Bottom line...if your child is able to fit into the adult version, spend the extra $10-$15 and buy it. Everyone will be much happier in the long run.

Son loves them, but they fell apart within a month

My 13 year old son needed a good quality pair of shoes as he was having some foot discomfort with 2 other brands, so we went with these. They are comfortable for him, but within a month of wearing the soles started to come apart. Super disappointing as we previously haven't spent over $40 on a pair of shoes, but went over $100 for these thinking we were getting a great pair of shoes to make his feet happy. Shoes this expensive should last as long as the adult versions.
