Brooks  Plunge 2.0 Sports Bra

I'm a distance runner and prefer a locked-in, compressed feel. Even after sizing down, there was too much bounce with this one. I normally prefer a more solid racerback shape but I gave this criss-cross shape a try because it was on sale. I was sadly disappointed. I suspect the straps are too weak to defy physics in the way I would like them to. The front center is cut a bit lower than I'm used to, and there's less coverage on the side as well. That's probably not helping the bounce situation, but it also shows off more of my chest than I'd like. This seems mislabeled as high impact - based on the sizing, this feels like low- to medium-impact.

Picked this up on sale to have another nicer sports bra on hand for higher intensity activities. I was hoping to use it as a running bra, but it does not provide enough support for that. For walking, lifting, yoga, or hiking, it does provide a strong support. There are no clasps or adjustable straps, it is just the band on the bottom (which is tight/strong). There are pad inserts which are strange- I removed them and it was a better look and fit overall. I do have a larger bust, so perhaps these specs would be better for a small chested person- but it works overall for my fitness purposes. I think the sale price is worth it. Overall a decent bra but not for higher intensity running support.

Runs very small. Buy two sizes up or just don't buy this at all and support a more size inclusive brand. XXL was so tight and uncomfortable even though I have XL and XXL bras from other brands that fit great.

Great bra- I’m post double mastectomy about 1.5 years out and this is my new favorite running bra post reconstruction. I don’t chafe, it’s comfortable, it doesn’t hurt my shoulders AND it’s pretty sexy. I wore this during my last marathon and it worked awesome.

Nice, light material, but the seems are pulling apart after only a few uses. Pretty disappointing.

Since the style was listed as "compression" I thought this bra would not have pads. It has pads. I don't want them. When I take them out, the bra is pretty much just a basic sports bra like I might find at Target. Plus a stupid mesh insert that may be intended to make the bra look "sexy" because I can think of no other purpose it might serve.

It’s very comfortable and easy enough for me (senior) to get on and off. I can use it for active work and feel comfortable. Nice fit for me/34B.

As an avid runner, I've tried numerous brands and designs, but none have matched the comfort, support, and functionality of this particular sports bra. Firstly, the fit is exceptional. After multiple washes, it maintains its shape and elasticity, showing no signs of wear and tear. (I wash on a cold cycle and air dry it.) In terms of style, I love it! It comes in fun colors and the design is flattering. In fact, I bought only one of these, then came back and bought 2 more to add to my rotation. Overall, I can confidently say that this sports bra has exceeded my expectations. It's become an indispensable part of my running gear, providing unmatched comfort, support, and durability. I highly recommend this sports bra to any active woman looking for a reliable, high-performance companion during her workouts.

I have what called a "fuller" bust. I currently wear a 34J. This bra, in a medium, holds it all without having to position the band on actual breast tissue! Also, though there is some bounce, there's zero pain. Probably a good option for anyone looking for a supportive bra.

For reference, I am a 36F. I basically find it impossible to find sports bras that fit without giving me uniboob or bulging out the sides of the bra. This one ACTUALLY fit me and the mesh in the middle somehow makes it possible to arrange my boobs so they aren't smooshed together in the middle, the mesh will even provide me with a breeze! No bulging out the sides either! I got an XL after reading the reviews, the band fits perfectly. I have only tried this bra on, haven't actually used it yet, but I can tell it's going to work. I need a very specific sports bra for high impact and I don't intend on using this bra for that. I just wanted a more comfortable bra for hiking and yoga and I think I found it! I'm so excited! Oh also the design and colors of this are totally cute and my style.
