Why isn’t there a triangle crotch gusset in these?
I found these to run small. I’m a size small in most everything and needed a medium in these to fit comfortably and not dig in to my thighs. I’m a 26 waist and 38 hip so nowhere near a size 8-10 but alas it doesn’t matter because I cannot get past the lack of triangle crotch gusset and am shocked no one else has mentioned it! I guess if you wore underwear with these you wouldn’t notice but the way the crotch construction is now will rub uncomfortably and leaves a horrible camel toe. I am seriously disappointed and hope patagonia fixes this mishap for the next round of these!!
An instant favorite
These shorts are excellent and have quickly become one of my go-to shorts for running errands, working out, doing stuff after working out, you name it. I have many bike shorts that I use mostly for running and biking and though many of them claim to be cross-functional most of them are not really breathable or comfortable enough to warrant wearing all day. These are something else. The waistband stays up, the pockets are well designed and can fit a smartphone without a lot of bouncing around. They stay put and feel dry on my skin even if I am sweating a ton. The shorts feel super soft. In the short time I've had them they've quickly become an article I reach for both working out and bumming around.
Flattering and functional
My favorite running shorts; perfect pockets for phone and gels, cute style, no slipping and stay up. I was reluctant based on reviews about a bad cameltoe, but glad I ordered because that didn’t happen for me. The pattern style is actually very flattering, too.

Feel amazing, don’t ride up, fun print does not show sweat, I’m normally a medium in shorts but got a small and they are perfect. They are not compression so that’s probably why I can wear small. I normally wear Janji (medium) and rabbit (small in compression and M in shorts)Love this style/fabric over my similar ones on both brands.
Go ahead, buy them!
Almost didn't buy these because of the price, but I have the leggings and love them so I thought I'd take a chance and glad I did! (same size as my leggings). These shorts are the perfect length, don't fall down, I love the pockets for my phone, they are super soft, and most of all.... they are easy to pull down on the trail to use your favorite standing urination funnel device of choice. Definitely. easier to pull down than the Baggies, that's for sure!
Camel toe too obvious
I'll have to agree with the other reviewer that these shorts give TERRIBLE camel toe. The soft fabric and the seam right down the middle is a bad combo. Having said that, they do fit true to size in my opinion, are a good length, good rise, and nice big side pockets. Wished they worked out, but I'll be returning them.
Almost Perfect Shorts
These shorts are almost perfect. Very comfy material and the perfect length. I only wish they were higher rise. The mid-rise is okay but not the most comfortable. It would be nice to have more coverage. The pockets on these are a bit small too compared to other shorts I tried on in the same style. They fit a phone snugly, but could stand to be wider.
Defect for Long Runs
They’re so thin and lightweight they almost feel like cheap shorts.. but in the best way, because they’re breathable, sweat wicking, and opaque. I didn’t experience any riding up or chafing over 10 slow miles. The length is longer than the 5” shorts I typically wear but they still look really cute and didn’t seem much longer than my usuals. I plan to buy a few more pairs and I hope they’ll be offered in more patterns soon. Buy them, you won’t regret it.

No camel toe, I think that comes from a too small size? Anyways, I’m so glad for this style because it’s actually really flattering for my size and shape. I am going to wear these hiking and everything else! Super comfy , cute color, lightweight
Love them
These are my favorite shorts for running and weight lifting. The soft lightweight fabric is great and is very comfortable. These shorts stay in place during exercise, I usually have trouble with shorts riding up, especially when running. They are also comfortable to wear for several hours since they don’t have much compression, I am a personal trainer and will sometimes wear them most of the day. I have multiple pair of these shorts, in addition to several pair of leggings.
