A comfort/sustainable shoe at an affordable price!
This shoe is amazing. I love how comfortable they are on the first wear. I have had mine about 3 months. Supremely true to size and so good to my feet for all day wear. Whether I am going on a quick workout at the gym, a walk with our dogs, a hike with my husband or a day of shopping, I love my Mavericks as a great looking and feeling shoe to support my happy feet. So kind to my wallet. Holo is a brand for the sustainably minded family. Thank you, REI for adding Holo Footwear to your line up!!
No support
I wanted to love these shoes since they have so much going for them - cute styling, comfy at try on, roomy toebox. I wear a 7.5 and sometimes need a wide shoe. These were great, I thought! After running through an airport and around the streets of New York, not so much. There is NO arch support, not a ton of cushion, and the insole is not removable so adding store-bought orthotics adds too much volume for the heel to be comfortable. Sorry but I will be returning these.
the MOST comfortable shoe
These my dudes, are probably theist comfortable sneaker I’ve ever worn. I’m a bit bigger and they don’t feel tight, I can walk on them all day, ride my bike, and even drive without feelings like they’re suffocating my feet. It’s like wearing a sock with a grip bottom. Also the bottoms have a hiking boot grip material so it’s nice to run on gravel or dirt even because you don’t slide and there’s no worry of twisting your ankle. I got a 6.5 although I’m a 7, and still no issue.
Great comfortable shoes
I highly recommend these shoes. They’re comfortable and seem to be sturdy. The laces are too long and this shoe does run small so I recommend trying on a few sizes before purchasing. I usually wear a 7.5 in women’s & it was way too tight. I tried on an 8 with & w/o my inserts & had to go up to an 8.5 & it still runs narrower at the toes. The arches are so comfortable. I’ve been wearing them daily for walking & love them.
I’d buy again
I bought these to take to Alaska and ended up hiking in them in Denali. I had plates and pins put in my foot and ankle a few months ago, so I was worried about support. Had I know I was hiking, I would have worn my trail shoes, but these held up great. Thoroughly impressed.
Pretty Decent Sneaker
Pretty decent sneakers. When I first tried them on, I didn’t think they fit. After wearing them around, I quickly began to like them. Super comfortable, easy to slip on, and stylish. They are NOT for casual hikes or hilly walks in my experience; there’s no traction inside the shoe/the insole is really flat so my foot slides around really easily and often.
Love these!
I found these to fit true to size and to be instantly comfortable. Because of the stretch fabric, they don't irritate my bunion. I've worn them traveling, and had no issues running through airports wearing these shoes. I would recommend these shoes.

I found these shoes in the one off section at the Abq store and my foot fell in love with them the moment I put them on. The sock fit is great, hugs my arch, toe box nice and roomy. Been wearing them since December as my walking shoes and easy trail shoes (sole is nice and grippy). They are holding up great. I normally wear a 7.5 but the size 7 fit like a glove. I say give them a try. I love mine! Oh, the price is super reasonable!

Very comfortable to everyday. Easy to slip on and off and they're truly breathable. Love the color varieties of not just this shoe but their other designs. Love the affordable price!
very comfy shoes that run small
I heeded others advice and bought these shoes 1/2 size bigger and I couldn’t be happier. They are very comfortable a are smooth putting on and taking off. They don’t have a high arch, which I like due to my low arches. I doubled the laces over themselves rather than tying closed so that I could easily slip them off and on.
