Large Dog Stroller

I bought this as a stroller for my elderly, 80lb rescue pit, since his back legs don't let him keep up with the rest of us these days. It checked all the boxes I needed (weight capacity, collapsible, rubber wheels) so I held my breath and gave it a shot, hoping that he would fit. He fits! I had no problem putting the stroller together, and after a few uses can say that it easily collapses and re-assembles. This thing is sturdy and easy to use. The handle bar is adjustable (my husband and I are both tall, and neither of us has to stoop to push), and even with Kong and his water bottle inside it rolls like a dream. I took it off-roading with him in it (in a flat mowed field, not a hiking trail) and had no issues maneuvering the stroller at all. I could even push it one-handed while I helped him walk in his mobility harness with the other hand. It is a little difficult to get him in & out (and even more difficult with the dog conversion kit, which I found not worth the money), but lifting his backside into the front opening and sliding him in backwards works pretty well. Overall, as expensive as it is, it has been worth the price.

We have had this for several months now and have put a few hundred miles on it. Overall, it is well constructed and durable. It rolls smoothly in stroller and trailer mode. The front casters and rear wheels are quick and easy to remove. In the cold weather the clear vinyl covering is great to keep the kids warm. The handle position in stroller mode is good and allows me to jog comfortably without catching my shins on the frame (I am 6’2”). There are several notable downsides that I would have expected Thule to address at this price point. -the brake is extremely awkward. To engage the brake, you have to reach between the frame and wheel, which results in all the mud from the wheel smearing your arm. When engaged, the brake is secure, but it should either have a foot pedal or hand control. -my wife has stopped using this entirely because it is very difficult to fold down due to the tension in the frame. Even with good positioning, I end up needing to apply a lot of force to get it to fold. Again, for the price, this should be better engineered. -the tabs to hold the vinyl cover closed are difficult to use with gloves on. We bought the infant insert on the Thule website, and once installed it works well and holds our 3 month old securely. It is notable that the included instructions from Thule did not show installation on this model, but the Thule website does have a pdf showing how (it is pretty straightforward even without the instructions, but I think it is worth mentioning)

EPIC product!!! Instruction booklet less so.

Bought this for my elderly 65lb shepherd/lab cross who struggles with long walks, and am happy to report she LOVES it and it so smooth. She loves stroller and bike mode. You get what you pay for with Thule and the quality is top notch. Moving from kid to dog mode is super easy, and the screens make it feel very safe while moving at bike speeds. The trailer is heavy so I am not sure how I would do navigating the North Vancouver hills without an ebike, but I would be comfortable riding flat without EV. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because the instructions, although detailed, contained no actual words, just images. This was annoyingly inconvenient, and even short, simple sentences would make the world of a difference. I had to go onto youtube to figure out how to put it together and again when I wanted to collapse it.

Amazing product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can’t tell you how excited I was when we got this in the mail! It was so easy to put together and easy to use. I love how it has a cover for the rain and you can fit 2 children in it. We are going to Disney next month and it fits the sizing requirements for a stroller so we will be using this for our trip. Another great feature is that you can adjust the height of the stroller handle which is great for tall people like myself.

We got this as our only required baby gift from going to one baby to two! It makes my life so much easier I have little helmets for them To wear when we stroll around and can even get it into the back of my SUV with ease. We’re about to go for our first bike ride today as my little is finally 6 months old and we’re all ready looking forward to itn

Best bike trailer

I have been using this bike trailer for almost 3 months now. It is the perfect size to pull my 3 year old son around the neighborhood- we can go for a ride, or t pack our pool gear or even beach bag. He is happy and content while riding. I love the fact that when he is older I can still use it to haul our stuff. I also love the easy on and off if I ever need to remove it. I can do it myself without having to ask my husband. I am so thankful for the quality and the safety your products provide. It truly gives me peace of mind! I 100% recommend this product to all parents of small children!

Exactly what we needed!!

The Thule Courier is perfect for pulling our 1 1/2 year old son around on our new beach cruisers! I especially like the ease of being able to switch the trailer to my husband’s bike using the purchased attachment. After researching the best product/company for safety and easy of use it was clear the Thule bike trailers were the best way to go. Our son loves going on bike rides with mama and daddy! I love that the trailer can also be used for hauling other things once our son out grows it. Definitely worth every penny! Thank you Thule for such a wonderful product!

Good quality and great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product came in secured package without any damage. It did not take much time to put it together and connecting to bike is very easy. My husband takes my kid for evening bike rides and it has become favorite pass time for my son. It is spacious enough for 2 kids and can be converted into cargo trailer when required. The switching is very easy and can be done on the go. I love that it can be used as stroller too. Living in Florida, we spend a lot of beach time and this one is going to be a staple for us as we can switch between stroller and bike trailer whenever required. The product is light weight yet sturdy, comfortable and useful yet stylish, spacious and yet easy to carry in car.

Thule Courrier is AWESOME for Senior Dogs!

I purchased this for my senior dog who has hip displasia and a compressed disc. She can ride in it to the park, where I let her off to walk until she shows signs of distress, then gets back in so I can finish my exercise. This was truly a great investment for her and she likes riding in it! I have since blinged it out more on the inside for her :)

High Quality Product

Right from the get-go you can tell that this bike trailer is incredibly high quality. The materials are extremely sturdy, feel great, and are about as well put together as the price would have you hoping for. The features of this trailer are amazing. You can carry kiddos, groceries, and even a dog like we do with the additional pet package. My only complaint is that for an Ebike, the trailer hitch itself is not exactly compatible due to the axle size. To get around this I purchased a custom axle extender specifically for mounting bike trailers like this one from the Robert Axle Project- which has turned this product into exactly what I wanted. It would have been nice to know or have an axle extender option for my ebike for the price point and not just the standard clip in- but I get it. Overall, I’m incredibly happy that I spent the money on this product. You won’t regret your investment if you value quality and durability in the things you own!
