EXCELLENT PRODUCT!
This is a great medium sized duffle. Eagle Creek makes excellent high quality products and they support those products even after many years of use. That is incredible value. I returned an old pack I used on multiple trips to Europe and Asia. It was durable and well loved. Despite my extensive use, Eagle Creek gave me a full warranty replacement. With an excellent and reliable warranty replacement process, you can buy their products with confidence that it will never be a bad purchase. Eagle Creek literally spent a full hour with me on the phone to locate the best new options to purchase and replace my old gear. The high speed warranty process was incredible - it only took one week. The customer service was very patient. I expect great things moving forward with Eagle Creek under their new ownership and management.
No Single Shoulder Strap
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag has one major flaw--there is no main should strap, and no way to convert one backpack strap to single strap because the male/female clips are opposite. The carry handles are too tight to throw over the shoulder and the backpack strap clips do not allow you to clip across the bag. So, if you want to carry the bag as a duffle over the shoulder, you must use both backpack straps, which I find super annoying. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make the buckles on the backpack straps both male, so you can clip one strap across the bag (or add a shoulder strap). Also, there is really no way to use this bag without zipping it closed (I hoped this bag would replace a 20 gallon IKEA blue open top tote bag).
This product saved me in more ways than one
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I moved 10,000 miles from home and I needed a duffel bag to pack all of my things. I ordered this on Sunday night and it showed up to my house on Tuesday afternoon. Its durable, waterproof, exterior makes it perfect for weather and outdoors adventures, and the multitude of straps meant there was enough ways to move with it that I actually had fun carrying it. The backpack straps are a genius design, and I really love the colors I got. All of this, including the fast and cheap shipping, and the price, meant I found a bag I hope to use for years to come, and a brand I'll use for a lifetime.
Great Bag for US Coast Guard Academy Day One Check-in
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son earned an appointment to the US Coast Guard Academy (USCGA) and began his journey late-June 2021. Their initial summer training before freshman academic school year began is called Swab Summer. USCGA gave my son a list of several items to bring with him; 24 pair of knee-high white socks, 24 white v-neck t-shirts, 24 underwear, etc., etc. etc.! All of these items fit snugly in this duffel, and more importantly, the backpack straps were a Godsend because they had to march, stand, march, stand with no breaks for the first 9 hours receiving traveling from station to station and building to building receiving their initial issue of uniforms, supplies, etc. This bag is tough and well worth the money!
Great bag--except for the zipper
I wanted to love this bag. The color and sewing on it were great!! Overall it was durable and kept the water off of my stuff while traveling in Scotland. Unfortunately, the zipper was awful. It did not seamlessly close and was quite a challenge to ensure that the items were secure. Zipping, unzipping, rezipping......over and over again. Very annoying and was nervous it would give out while moving from country to country.
The perfect bag for small college room
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We gave it to our granddaughter to use as she flies back and forth to college from home. It is the perfect size to handle all here stuff but then folds to fit easily out of the way under her bed.
Worthwhile heavy duty luggage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I now own three of these Migrate duffels and am pleased with their ruggedness and durability. We mostly use them for camping and toting gear, but I'd feel good checking them as luggage although they aren't the lightest weight options. Love the ecological positives too with it being from reclaimed plastics. My only change would be if they had snap handles instead of velcro. Our other eagle creek duffel bags have snaps and I prefer it so athletic clothing isn't snagged. Overall not a deal breaker though and it is hidden velcro so it doesn't catch often. #sweepstakes
Amazing bag!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was bought as a gift for my boyfriend's birthday about two years ago. The bag is strong, mostly impermeable, beautifully manufactured, and the colors are so hot! Best feature yet, is made from recycled materials. The only reason I took it down one star is due to not being able to pack as a structure unless I have packing cubes. The purpose for the this duffle bag was to represent a weekender. The bag is super spacious is much bigger than I anticipated. I should have gone for the 60L for convenience instead. At the end of the day, amazing duffel bag!
Top-notch seabag and travel pack
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Originally purchased this as a seabag for use living long term on a historic sailing vessel. Easily holds ~2 weeks worth of clothes plus boots and foul weather gear. Later used it for 2 1/2 months of winter travel and again could fit 2 weeks of clothes plus a heavy winter coat. The size means it can be quite heavy when fully packed, so the backpack straps are a wise choice (vs a traditional duffel bag shoulder strap, which I originally wished this had, but now realize it would be a painful and unbalanced method of carry). Held up very well after living out of it pretty much full-time for the past year, plus have received multiple compliments both from crew mates and fellow travelers on its quality. An investment that’s proved well worth the money.
Great Bag
It's just a nicely made basic duffle bag. I expect to have this a long time. Very happy with the purchase.
