Sizing Notes
TALL: Some shirts, pants and jackets are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer and sleeves that are 2 inches longer than regular sizes.
SHORT: Pants are available in short sizes. These have an inseam of 30 inches.

Great design, but not pre-shrunk
Why on earth would a clothing manufacturer design a garment out of cotton and not design it bigger?? I've bought items from other manufacturers and after you wash/dry the item, it shrinks down to the appropriate size for the tag. I bought this, and took pictures of the measurements before and after laundering it per the instructions on the tag (low heat). The chest lost 6" in circumference. The sleeves lost 1.5" in length and are now too tight. I'm in between Medium and Large. It fit relaxed (as it is labelled relaxed fit) prior. Afterwards, it fit on the small end of Medium. I'm going to have to return it as it is defective.

Pro tip, wash in cold water with little detergent and dry on low heat to avoid shrinking. Do not overload washer/dryer so washer can thoroughly clean and dryer does not have to run longer to dry all clothing. This waffle hoodie is comfortably soft and offers a light warmth for all day use without overheating when it's a mild day. The material is durable and the build quality is excellent. Perfect hoodie for Arizona winters when it's cold in the morning and warm during the day. I highly recommend the matching waffle pants to compliment the outfit or some joggers if it's more mild outside.
Shrunk after washing
OMG, this thing shrunk soooo much. I loved this hoody until I washed it. It shrunk like 2 whole sizes. I am editing a review I originally left about how this was my new favorite hoody. Spoke too soon I guess. Very sad about it as I used the winter sale 20% off on this and so now that's gone too.
Shrinks terribly, I will be returning!
This shrunk terribly. My husband liked it initially and it fit him great! Then we washed it… ugh. It shrunk at least a whole size. We are retuning it the next time we head to REI.
Comfortable
The sweater is nearly perfect. But when did pointy hoods come back?
A must have EDC hoodie
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this hoodie with the intention of it being a backpack back up. However, when it arrived, I was very surprised by the quality and fit. It has a good length in the sleeve and it drapes well. The waffle weave it a perfect midweight feel that you can wear all year round. I own several high end hoodies and this one definitely ranks up there with them. The price point is also excellent! Don't hesitate on this one!

I am 5'11" & weight is 179lbs. Wear a 32 /32 in most jeans. I purchased a blue medium regular and the fit is perfect. The hoodie is very well made and I would consider high quality. I bought it to wear as casual/lounge clothing during the cold months in northern Ontario. Would be too warm during spring/summer but great for fall/winter. I am not disappointed whatsoever.
Great shirt for cooler weather or as a layer in winter
Great shirt for cooler weather, and us a layer in the winter. As one would expect from North Face, functions like a well made hooded sweatshirt, even having a hand warmer pocket on the front, but is thinner and uses a waffle fabric. I would buy more in the future, and would like to get some other colors.
No I would not buy again.
Love the the hoodie, I wear a medium 5'10" 170 lbs, based on reviews, I sized up to large. Dryed it on low and it shrunk to a small. I have never had this problem with any other brand of hoodie. Think about going up 2 sizes if you decide to buy it.
