New Favorite Running Tights
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are my new favorite running tights. They are really soft on the inside, but not too heavy. My favorite feature is the cell phone pocket because it keeps my phone in one spot without bouncing around like it does when it's in my coat pocket. The zipper pocket is a great size for my house key, and it's nice to know it's secure. In Portland, Oregon we have cool weather and lots of rain. These are the perfect weight. They're not too heavy, but keep me warm on those cold mornings when I'm running before the sun comes up. The tights fit true to size and I was surprised that they were long enough (I'm 6'5). These are my new 'go-to' tights!
Confusing pockets, but warming
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Momentum Thermal Tights were just that – tight. I wore them running one morning with the temps in the high 40s, and it did generate a surprising amount of warmth especially in my calves, which I was not expecting. The fit was tight, but not restrictive. The waist elastic ties were a little thick (I prefer a more “lay flat” type of drawstring). The silver color detailing around the pockets felt like an out of place design choice – it screamed “look at my pockets!!!!!!” I didn’t like the slide in pocket – it felt like it should have had the compartment on the other side of the zipper vs. forward on the hip. But overall, a good value for product.
Comfortable & Lightweight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the overall look of these thermal running tights. When i first put them on, they felt like they were immediately conforming to my body. The fit was perfectly and the stretch was just right. While they do stretch, they did not expand throughout my workout. I even wore them the whole day and they were barely noticeable. I live in NYC and go run several times a week outdoors. The lining on the inside was so comfortable and warm. I felt very comfortable during my run in the cold. My favorite part of these pants were all the pockets and compartments it had. They weren’t bulky at all but could also fit my essentials very comfortably — keys, phone, lip balm. These are currently my go to and I look forward to trying them out as it gets colder outside.
Buttery soft, but not for my body
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These thermal leggings are the best material I have ever felt and I was really excited to put them on but unfortunately they were not the right cut for my body. I have had two c-sections and they hit just below my belly button which was uncomfortable for my body. If they were high-waisted I would have loved them! I really like the design features of a drop in pocket and a zipper pocket. They were a little on the tight side so I recommend going up a size. Kept me nice and warm when outside when we had a few snow flurries for weather. Sorry not going to post a picture, They were just a little too snug on my body and I don’t want to publish camel toe and pancake butt.
Toasty and dry
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the gray black color of the leggings and the interior fleece stayed smooth through multiple washes. The leggings are smooth, but still supportive. We’re not quite to the coldest mornings in this region, but the leggings hold up warmth in the couple of 30 degree mornings we’ve experienced. I really love how the leggings still wick sweat, so my legs are warm, but not damp compared to other fleece lined tights. I would advise ordering up a size if comfort is your goal. I found them functional, but a bit tight and I did have to pull them up after a couple of cross training circuits that included squats and lunges. I love the zippered pockets and the tummy control panel.
Decent pants, pockets to narrow.
Decent running pants, very comfortable and warm enough for running in mild winter weather (upper 30s in my area). Biggest drawback: pockets are too narrow to hold my phone (2.9" wide). In addition, the pockets appear to be reinforced with a strip of pressed on material. After wearing the pants about 10 times this material is cracking on the pocket that I have not used because it is too narrow. I am concerned about durability of the material.
Blocked the wind well on my legs and was perfect for below freezing temperature. The tight was a bit tight on my calves and led to some cramping but fit well on my upper legs. At 5'6" the tight was a little long even in the size small so I had to pull it up to put the excess around my knee. This helped some with flexibility in these tights. I wore these most often under a pair of Sherpa shorts to maintain the pocket functionality I was used to in the summer. The fabrics were compatible and had no issues. A similar pocket structure and some added warmth in this area would make an incredible tight.
Good winter running pants
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pants kept me very warm (almost a little too warm) in 40-50 degree weather. My guess is that they would be ideal for weather below 40, but I haven't had a chance to use them in those conditions yet. They are very durable -- they held up well after being washed in the washing machine. The fabric is thick so there is good coverage, but it is also stretchy. It was very comfortable and easy to move in, and it didn't rise up on my hips. I liked how my phone fit easily in the pocket and didn't move around once I put it in there.
So close to being great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought the look and feel of these thermal running tights was fantastic. Very elevated and well made. I found they kept my legs very warm during my cold weather outdoor runs but there was one issue and that was the fit. They kept falling down and I had to stop Frequently to pull them up. I don’t know if it is because they were Mens and I was a women testing them but my postpartum body needed these to be higher waisted. Aside from that I thought they were so great!
Got these for my husband as a birthday present. He doesn't like being cold, so it's a drag getting him out for runs once it's chilly. He took 'em out on a breezy fall evening run and came back saying how great they were. In the past he's worn shorts over his tights, but didn't think he needed to with these. I got him a medium, he's 6'2 and about 170 fairly slim build. His butt looks great in them. Samsung Note 10 in a slim case fits into the bigger pocket.
