Almost a 5 star bag

I've used the previous generation ozone courier bag for about 10 years so it was time to replace. The new carry-on boarding bag does a great job allowing you to pack the maximum in an organized way in an easy to carry size bag. The old design had stretchy pockets on the ends that were always useful for a bottle or other misc stuff grabbed along the way. This bag is missing those. The other issue is the outside compartment designed for pens, cards, etc is hard to get into because the zipper is too short. Again the old design had a zipper that allowed the outside flap to fold down some. Materials, workmanship, and the shoulder strap are top notch.

Great way to drop your laptop

I ordered this bag for domestic airline travel and for travel to and from my clients' offices. The Ozone bag being very new there were no reviews online at the time of purchase for the 2023 version. I believed from the photos that the bag would have a bit of rigidity, but this bag was paper thin in the delivery bag, and I knew there was going to be a problem. I tried it out for all of 3 minutes. My 15.6" laptop barely fit, I do not believe it will fit with a Pelican 1080/1095 case. With this bag Osprey has found a new and innovative way of letting their customers down. It comes in the form of a removable shoulder strap held on with a very easily ACCIDENTALLY disengaged mechanism which attached to the bag itself. Why, Osprey, in the age of so many wonderful locking carabiners and what nots would you put something so STUPID on a laptop bag?!?!! Well, long story short I decided to test this feature out. I IMMEDIATLY dropped $2500 worth of equipment. Luckily it was above a couch, but I have zero faith in this bag for any type of commute. Have they never used a Peak Designs locking mechanism? C'mon. After receiving the bag in person I found the photos Osprey has posted online to be extremely deceptive and misleading. There is also nothing I found notating it is a SOFT SHELL case. As usual Ospreys marketing copy is misleading, and this product has no place in the market. Is it for commuters? Maybe if you're using a Chromebook, and even then I hope it doesn't get jostled or knocked around. Is it for businesspeople traveling on airplanes trying to save weight? No. Why? Because it isn't fit to carry anything like a Dell XPS, a HP Specter, a MacBook, or any sort of gaming laptop. Why? Because it provides zero protection. I will be waiting for this bag to show up the only place it belongs...on the r/ultralight_jerk sub of reddit.

Good not great bag

Nice lightweight bag. Holds a lot. The front zipper pocket design could be better. It’s hard to access your pens/pencils in the right side because the zipper stops too high. The bag could use a little more structure because it collapses on itself and slants to the side if it is not full. However, that’s a plus and a minus since more structural reinforcement might make it a heavier bag.

Excellent carry on bag!

I used this to fly from Boston to Lumembourg and it was very convenient. Easy to carry with shoulder strap on it’s own or easy to slide over the handle (rails) of my Transporter rolling suitcase. It’s a smaller bag but I managed to get everything I needed in it, including extra clothes in case I had to check my rolling bag and it got lost. I loved the sleek design and like my other Osprey bags, it seems well made and durable. I paid full price, and am still totally happy with it for the money.

Really like it; almost did not buy based on rvws

I almost did not buy this, based on other reviews, but I really like it. It's lightweight. For me, it is the perfect size to put a MacBook in, plus various other things I like to keep with me. It's not a giant carry on bag... I wouldn't take this as my only piece of luggage. But, I check a bag, and then like to have something like this with me, with my laptop, headphones, jacket, snacks, and other things.

I like the size of

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the size of this bag as it seems just about the right size to hold many items while not being overly large and bulky. I appreciate the many compartments and I like where they are located, makes sense and seems useful. The bag seems to be well-made and should be durable over time. It looks good too. It has been a good purchase for me so far.

Great carry on bag. Very

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great carry on bag. Very stylish and more room than you think. I used this bag for a 2 day trip to Ireland and it held everything I needed. I took two pairs of pants, two shirts and my toiletries. There was still room in the front pockets for electronics and documents. Great go bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked this bag. It is well designed for separating needed overnight/multi-day trips. However, I ended up returning it because I didn't like the over the shoulder design. I decided on the convertible backpack/tote bag instead because of its additional flexibility.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow this thing is light! I carry a laptop, two tablets, an extra cellphone, passport, light jacket, and a pair of headphones in this bag and it all fits easily and is well protected. The shoulder pad is thick and comfortable.
